Terp teas by roots organics

I would be Using lime for a buffer and also cal and mag instead of using ph up or down or cal mag from a bottle. What do you guys think?
That's pretty common for soil grows. Garden Lime for Calcium, Dolomite Lime for Magnesium.

If your water is Alkaline with lots of dissolved solids, use Less lime. If your water is more towards neutral with less dissolved minerals, use More lime.

Also think about the Calcium that's already in your soil mix. If you have lots of crab shell, oyster shell, bone meal and calcium inputs use Less lime.

When using terp tea and brewing, do you just add it to the water directly or do you need to steep it in something? When I put it in my watering pail there’s always a ton of solids near the bottom (looks like sand almost) and just trying to figure out if it’s dissolving correctly or what.

I just top dress with it. Seems more effective and consistent than the water methods.

Issue I have is I’m trying to do no till but the plants have been hungry and fighting deficiencies the whole time, needed something that would take effect faster as I learn this method and the individual plants

used the uprising and terp tea for both veggies and cannabis for 5-10 years (they intil a few years ago only had uprising )

uprising is their slower release and terp tea is faster Release , I apply instead of every week every 2-4 weeks and when in flower I apply the 4+ weeks worth when mid way in cause I never want to re-apply in the cycle when buds are maturing. It’s harder and I don’t want ny chances of contaminating my flowers .

the bad news is roots organic got bought out by hydrofarm and I see price are increasing, so this year even thou I have multi years worth of both uprising and terp tea line left for both veggies and cannabis indoor and out I wanted to test other dry amendments.

what i discovered ( big ag friend suggested this to me and his all organic ) might be the best version yet and so far my plants are really loving it. The cool thing with this product is its slow release but has all the goodies and works great. For me being already living and npk in soil it’s perfect , 2-4 months it stays in soil, that means 1-3 applications per year . Think of it’s the organic osmocote meaning it’s an all in one and then some. I’m trying their compost and “MicroLife Ultimate 8-4-6”

MicroLife Ultimate 8-4-6
is an extremely powerful, homogenous, granulated All Organic Biological fertilizer containing: Fish, Kelp, Molasses, Emery Humates, Bat Guano, Rock Phosphate, Wheat Middling’s, Soy Meal, Cottonseed Meal, Alfalfa, Corn Meal, Kmag, Potassium Sulfate, Iron Sulfate, 18 select Amino Acids, Folic Acid, Vitamins, plus the MicroGro Supreme Bio-Inoculant package which contains billions of beneficial microorganisms including Endo & Ecto Mycorrhizal fungi. All ingredients are included in meaningful amounts.

MicroLife Ultimate 8-4-6
improves all soils by feeding the indigenous microbes, adding billions more, by providing specific soil improvers like polysaccharides, humic acid, fulvic acid and the major building blocks of life. MicroLife Ultimate 8-4-6 builds big root systems which further improves the soil and reduces water use.’

it has so much to offer but also price is amazing, makes sense why u can’t get it at hydrostores, I tried to pre order but no one could get it. Amazon can lol. This company has been around and big ag/grass industry use it hardcore. i loved roots organics but the price compare of my cycle on these products is way better but also more complete with this but also one thing I didn’t like is how easily u can get the terp tea and misc in ur face. I wear a full face respirators when doing so. This stuff u don’t and def won’t be an issue . Shoot it even holds water a lil and def makes the medium more drought resistant but also More like real soil if in peat/coco. shoot it made my fresh peat/coco within a week or two feel like worm composted/living soil real quick and the worms even invaded quickly.

1 ?= did u buy their elemental ? Cause if not ur prolly lacking cal/mag , if u aren’t I would find a alt to cal/mag nitrate like elemental if doing notill cause those micro nutes are essential to plant.

DERIVED FROM
Calcitic Lime, Dolomitic Lime, Gypsum and Fish Protein Hydrolysate”

to “dissolve “ these dry amendments it you want to use a small bucket/1 gal pitcher half filled and measure what the rez is for and stir heavily till it’s mixed In. I wouldn’t suggest throwing it in full rez and trying to stir cause it will fight ya. if doing drenches/watering in i high;y suggest making it into a tea and brew it for 12-24hrs min before use.

for me I only drench it in veg room because I’m constantly up-potting and misc, but final pot/flower room or outdoors I only apply top dressed and it works just as good and also I only have to water it in.

Yeah I’m brewing it in a tea, my question is whether I add it directly to the brew or need to use teabags to steep it. I’m using this to supplement the soil I’ve mixed and am adding botanicare cal mag to supplement

for the terp tea and anything organic = Directly and even if u get stuff on bottom, scoop it out and top dress it ( it’s only a con if ur hydro or using irrigation ),
your choice of cal/mag = I would be weary of adding cal/mag (nitrate/N) in flower. the need of cal/mag but lacking of N to be able to do it will in my attempts to do the cal/mag nitrate just showed way too much N but showed in end result of planfs getting way to much even when I reduced the dosage. Also that cal/mag ur using is salt. That makes ya need to also do run off, which I don’t do or want to if using organics
