your leaves are too pale. this will hinder your plant in late flowering if your able to keep those leaves. I would adjust your brand of food or the ph/ tds of your solution

what is the mix your growing in?

went to txhydro for the first time. the employee really tried to work within my budget and seemed smart. but is there any better place in houston?

First grow, and started with NO knowledge so Im growing in MG Organic. Will upgrade to FF maybe in future grow. Been feeding AN Bud Blood Half strength every 3-4 days ( as needed). Definitely a test grow. Learning alot everyday. Thanks.

there is another really good store that i recommend.. its on 45 south exit almeda genoa make a left.. and drive about 7 min and u will see it.... lots of varieties of nutes and alot of usefull shit....here in houston tx dude.. whatare u growing ??? im a fellow grower from houston too

thanks man! im in need of a tent and some hps so ill be sure to check it out . im working on trying to get some seeds or trying to get some clones but im having a hard time :/

big ups for houston growers! i use this medicinally but sadly this isnt recognized by our state. im glad all the hydro shops inside the loop are so helpful.

I have some feminized seeds I will not use... Since im vegging 3 of the same kind,... And might only keep 1 female n take clones... Will not need my other 2 icedgrapefruit... What kinda set up u workin with. What lights and what medium?

i have a t5 fluorescent for my veg area

i am pickin up my hps 400 and a grow tent tomorrow [getting a tent becauase from i read its the best way of keeping the smell during flowering contained. open to suggestions tho]


i am using canna coco for my medium
already got rhizotonic, coco a + b for my nutes
also got some cloning solution

any suggestions/critiques? im open for anything since this is my first ever grow

Similar to my set up... Except im using 2 600 watt hps in a 4by4by 9 closet... I started feeding nutes 2 weeks after seedlings sprouted... 1/4 strenght... And 35ml/gal... Spray on leaves only..... I vegged 3 weeks under t5 n been veggin under my hps since saturday... Nice to see htown growers here man... How much is an oz runnin for in ur area?

i checked out your journal man, really lovin the pics. 2 600w's must be just amazing for your plants. did you ever get that temp problem fixed? im worried im going to be running into that with my grow tent. im seeing it for about 320 but ive seen as low as 275. did you get your lighting locally, if you dont mind me asking

Yea I got my lights at a local grow shop its in downrown... Close to dowling st... Yea I really wanted to have a sick ass light fow my plants... I just started germinating the rest of my female seeds today... Peep my jurnal dude.... What equipment do u have available so far??.. And yea ill be glad to answer any if ur quesrions to the best of my knowledge.... Are u starrin wit clones or seedlings?

ohh i know that shop! thats where i got all my nutes and t5. they are like the only people in houston who carry canna. expensive, but im hoping its worth it. that shop is slightly expensive. the one on almeda genoa that you told me about was like waaay cheaper on everything.

i found this guy on craigslist who had a bunch of lights and didnt know how much they were worth. so he sold me a 1000watt ballast, socket, eye hortilux bulb for 150$

im just looking for a reflector atm.

equipment list so far:

eye hortilux bulb 1000watt
socket
carbon filter
6'' inline fan
lots and lots of mylar
rapidrooter
t5 flour lights. [4 tubes]


i had some reggie seeds lying around. but im getting some seeds shipped to me. i really wish i could find some locally though.

i would LOVE to get some clones and build a dwc or somthing. but again, having a hard time finding them. and sadly these cant be shipped lol


what kind of medium are you using? i cant tell if its soil or coco by your journal

I went with canna cocco coir... 60% cocco...30% perlite... 10% rockwoolcubes... I think u ran into a deal with those lights I spend close to 8 bills in just 2 600 watt hps lights including ducting... Reflector..ballast and a 6 inch can fan

I suggest that u find u atleast 2 or so females,.. Start them on cocco...ur gon need a ph tester... I got mine for 44 bucks at the almeda store... Ph up and down for 8 dollars each... Ph testin strips are like 3 bucks but in my opinion they are inafficient... I would suggest the t5 for the fist 2 weeks or 3... Keep them inside a humidity dome for atleast 1 week or 2,... Then start spraying 35ml/ gal rizotonic... U want to keep a slight breeze on them as well
