i have 10 rhode island red hens and a roo, 5 buff orpingtons and a couple of game hens for brooding. during the fall and winter i'll have a couple hundred birds around here. sell out of them in early spring. i've got cantaloupe growing in a garden that i tilled chicken shit in last fall, these things look like they're on the roids.

what your really saying is your working on making the perfect Omlet? With all the eggs, and your cooking method really sucks, so is it half & half or whole cream for the perfect Omlet.?? I cooked for my Dogs, to pratice. It's near time to spray benificial Nemotodes to do the flea problem. My Chickens had them bad, and so forth. Don't feed them until late, the digestive process heats the body, better when sun goes down. Range chickens, no feed. Later Dude.

well your right. when i was younger i did bring it on myself. but this last one. i felt jipped. idk. ive wised up compadre, im going to fly right until probations over. all the while growing my own. so come this Dec. when i report for the last time, im going to blaze it like it going out of style. and your right. i should be more careful in this state. the cops are harsh.

I often joke that in order to get any slack from the cops you must drive around with three things.
1.) a can of Dr. pepper
2.) a can of copenhagen(Tabacco dip)
3.)a country station preset on ur radio.

that way when u get pulled over you push the preset for country, stick some dip in yer mouth, and hold the dp can. when approached by the cop say, " well hay thur officer, give me one sec this that brookes and dunn song! whoo wee....."
damn dude that is great, how did nobody else find that funny?? that is fricking hilarious!!!!!!

With all them seeds, I've still to drop one yet. I've got about a dozen that I rescued from Man's ignorance, my "Step-Chillin" if you will. But the serious seeds, especially since they were a gift... "I have to get my head Right, & I do mean RIGHT!" The Wright Bros. quote, get it right on paper and it will work. I've been SO busy planting peas, about 4,000, Purple Hulls & 1 Lb. of Black-eyes. I haven't sit down and made a plan. I have access to soil from compost pile, truck load of compost, regular good top soil & mulch. But still, somethings not quite bloody well right. After sitting down yesterday with notebook & checking the compost pile, I realized the problem. The Compost soil is filled with all types of bugs & bad things. The bought compost is too raw, the top soil is too clay based, I have no Worm Farm or Rabbit manure, and no Lady Bug's Vortex. It's the Vortex I'm missing to Germ with. I should have got some on a beer run yesterday. Some Bitch ask Me if I was going to drink all of the 2 cases I was buying... "Why Lord NO, Lady! I've got 8 Kids at Home!" The Store was quite when I walked out.... It looks like I picked a bad week to stop shooting herion...... Oh Well. Later Tex-I-Cans.

Well FUCK! I have to move again. The landlords knew and were ok with it...right up until the first of this month. I was given 2 months by the Husband, the wife said the cops would be called if I went past Aug 1. I'm FUCT! My main plant is c99 and she would finish just in time for Sept. 1.... And the job was gone a month ago....I may be looking at time on the street. My plan was never to make the hobby a job. but when the job left....ya know it helped.

I hope ya'll are having better luck than me ya'll/

Oh yeah, grasshoppers have learned to eat San Pedro Cactus too., neem seems to work thank god. they almost ate a 4 footer in half ...the unlucky streak continues.

Hey NewNew, welcome. Two things though, you broke a big rule with your first post, second, you have your settings set to not accept PMs. I know because I tried to tell you to edit it in PMs. :-P

That sucks PlantMan! I've been off here for a while, but I know what you're going through. Had to give six 3.5' tall WW's away right before I moved, and yeah the hobby sure does help pay the bills. Good luck brother, hope you find a way.

in just 2 quick days the grasshoppers made my 2 girls and the rest of the vegtable garden worthless. i was dusting with sevin dust, i think the little bastards were snorting the shit. i was going to have to pull them up anyway because i'm going to have contractors on the property for a few months and i don't need to take any chances at all. you all don't melt.

Yeah, I had to move too,.. so no outdoor this year. Stupid Shit. Anyway Kev., sign up for the Dirt Doctor's News Letter. He published a lot of info on using Calin (?) Clay, to deal with the weedhoppers. I believe if you add DE, Plant Wash & Calin Clay into a spray form, fuck the Kass Bar & the Grass Hoppers. Plus the Clay adds trace minerials & fracs the Sunlight to better to evenly spead the golden Sunshine.
Maybe we can do a good grow next year.

Weed and Texas just don't mix. Kinda like trying to mix water with oil.

I grew up there and got the fuck out.

Learn how to grow yourself, and stop depending on others on supporting your habit.... If I moved, it wouldnt make my cooking taste any different, so why does it matter?.... and btw.... Tx Bud is better than people give it credit for... all the cheap stuff is what is sent up north, and the good stuff stays here, or else it wouldnt sell.... Up north they'll buy the crappiest weed in the world 5x-10x the price as it would here..

But dro is different... it's so rare here, so crappy stuff is sent up, and dro is smuggled down here.... Lucky for me, I know how to grow the best stuff around my area :).... It's still personal though... cough..

I dont have any major issues.Last year I had a little bud rot but other than that my Texas genetics love Texas weather.I do have some wierd stepchildren this year though.Three Snow White Feminized and one White Widow Feminized.Already Started flowering but they came out looking like Palm Trees.A bush @ the top and a big Bud in the center, lollipopping.Last year for those strains.Gonna keep the Shoreline Kicking.I have only found one other person with it and his is a cross.I have the original Strain from back in the 80's.Next project will be a 8 X 4 Scrog.Gonna take pics this time and throw a journal @ yall.Peace
