not really worried, most reviews (actually all!) say its no hotter than an array of CFL.
they even add that the majority of the heat is right at the bulb itself. usually keeping it about 6 inches from the tops.
one user said their temps were at 100 with CFL this HPS actually lowered their temps to 80!!

Thanks MOG! I'm REAL damn happy with the Great White Shark phenotype I have growing. I plan to take another clone off the clone I'm using for the PCC, plan to turn it into a mother.

The Lemon Skunk leaves a bit to be desired, the stems are a little weak, the nodes are by no means compact, and its bud production sooo sloooooow. Looks like it was crossed with a tall Sativa at some point. Not sure how it ended up in an Indica seed pack.

All things considered though, pretty happy thus far! Ordered a 150W HPS from SunSystem should be here next Tuesday, that should help crank out the buds on the LS.

150W HPS Bulb and Hood w/ built-in ballast for under 100$

940 checkin in.. haven't been on this site since I did my first grow a year ago! Auto-Flower AK and they were wonderful.. I've got so many seeds waiting to pop. (G13 Power Skunk, the DNA Skunk giveaway seeds from Attitude, and a bunch of random bag seeds with names but not from a bank so genetically not pos.)

As soon as my lease is up in april I'll be starting! (tomorrow I'm calling my dad to give him grow info and tell him about m.o.m.s lol) :bigjoint:

Can't wait, growing season is right around the corner. Problem for me I can't decide on any outdoor seeds. I really want something fairly easy to grow that doesn't need constant care since I will only go out to visit it about 8 times. I need cheap! Any advice would be awsome. Hit me up. so what's the scoop on our planting season? i've only grown indoor thus far, is it the same planting season as summer vegetables for texas? i have an idea in mind for a single plant SCRoG (Screen 2' x 2' x 1'6" (W x D x H)). I'm feeling ballsy enough to drop it in the ground in my backyard. just for fun, i will probably end up cutting her early. take her inside and chop her up for clones.

happy growing texas

good luck with that man...be careful!
she'll probably never see flower. i plan to use my yard as a vegging area
mother out this clone i have started in my closet, let her grow about a foot tall (after topping once indoors) then cut her into as many clones as possible for an indoor SOG

i have high enough fences and a pretty secluded spot in one of my garden beds, pretty should i could hide her until she's about that height.

Although... I have to run all this by my girl first, we'll see how that goes :dunce:
