quizoking.......i think what he meant was that the first time an addict gets hi ..and for an addicted able person this is a unique experience and the rest is chasing the dragon of that first amazing hi....which is never gotten again...

so in essence an addict is addicted from the second hit onward..this is a position taken by some rehab clinics...

good to see you are involved with cannabinoids.....i know some of the researches in the USA so we may actually know each other....
keep up the good work we can make this world a better place

of course in the beginning we believed if everyone smoked weed they would instantly become good righteous people..and stop doing all the bad shit we do....hahahaha delusional......even assholes smoke weed now..

but it is an amazing medicine and we will do good things with it...

if you are into serious research we are staring to make live resin from the entire plant and are finding a whole knew
combination of cannabinoids...

wish we could be more open about who we are but maybe soon....

actually this brings me back to the original reason i am here..maybe you can help me with this

i have a question about sohlex alcohol systems for making oil

i would like to do it with fresh frozen material and keep it frozen while the process goes on ..sometimes for 8 hours to get full extraction..this method is also bringing out new things

my problem is that i need to heat the alcohol to get it to go thru the process and still keep the product frozen...i thought about putting it in a freezer...but then how to heat the alcohol???

i guess a freezing coil would work

hahahah thanks just solved it.....i have a cryogenic freezer for my other extraction system so i will rig a second run of that..and done

amazing how having an intelligent conversation can solve problems ..thanks

WC Fields who was a hoot ..when asked why he talked to himself all the time quoted something about how i am the only intelligent person here ahahahahah

so much to learn.....

Thai is a very thin stretchy strain. The reported potency, from the days when Thai was available, was about 7%. So it's not going to be super potent, just one of the better Sativa landraces. You can find pics of the strain growing and it just looks like shit, structure-wise. I've also heard that the strain has a high tendency to herm, which is why Blueberry does. Sensi has a pure Mexican landrace that gets positive reviews. Might be a better choice. Actually I just looked and it said their Mexican is 70% Sativa. Anyway, there's probably some company with pure Mexican.

you are talking about the weed grown in the delta 20ft hi and very stretchy...16 week finish to small bud...the mountain strains from that region are very different...i never tested any but i would imagine the mountain stuff was around 20% THC

NOT SURE ABOUT 7 THINK IT IS UNLIKELY OR JUST REAL CRAP ..... NOBODY WAS TESTING IN THOSE DAYS AS IF YOU WENT TO A LAB YOU ALSO WENT TO JAIL HAHAHAHA

A LOT OF THE MOST POTENT SATIVA STRAINS SOLD NOW ARE PART THAI.....ALL THE HAZE VARIETIES//
AND MANY MORE....NEVILLE DID A GOOD JOB

I KNOW THE CREATOR OF BLUEBERRY ..HE LIVES JUST DOWN THE ROAD FROM ME...NOT SURE HOW MUCH THAI IN THAT ONE

IT IS NOT A FAVOURITE OF MY BUT I DO GROW A BLUBERRY // HAZE CROSS THAT IS VERY NICE...

At some point ya gotta just agree to disagree, you both make valid points.
Smoke a bowl guys:weed::leaf::eyesmoke::hug:

Personally I'd like to try some of this Laotian sativa. Always heard of the opium dipped sticks myself, but who knows how many people were doing this shit back in the day. It was the first real cannabis revolution I'm sure a LOT of different things were going on:peace:

Oh right, the highland Thai. DJ used that in Blueberry. The testing that showed 7% was done by scientists doing studies. They had Gov't permits. But they may not have had the best strain available in Thailand. Just go down to DJ's place and ask him if you can borrow a cup of highland Thai seeds.

Of course the problem with all weed in those days, including Thai Sticks, was that it was all seeded. I guess that's why modern weed is at least twice the price of what it was then.

BTW, I've made sticks myself but without the stick or the string. I just put pure bud in a cigarette roller, the kind that makes one long cigarette and then you cut it up. I just stuck several of the papers together so it could hold the bud and make a stick about 1/2-3/4" thick. I poked the ends in with a pencil so they were nice and flat and folded the ends of the paper shut. Then I just dried them out. I was in a hurry so I microwaved it, in short bursts of 30-60 seconds so it didn't get too hot, but should be able to dry them naturally too, just take longer. Then just cut the paper off and you've got a nice round Thai Stick. I found a stick length of about 4-6" worked well.

I agree.

Thai sticks as I have described them are 100% legit. I know this from my own, personal experience with them.

Generally, when Thai sticks are referenced, people realize there is more to them than buds wrapped around a stick just for the fuck of it. It wasn't for looks or for transporting them. They were wrapped around sticks so as to facilitate dipping/drying.

Thai sticks don't smell like weed. They have a sickly sweet, weird, funky smell to them - a la the opium tea. I can't really describe the smell, but once you smell that smell, you'll never forget it. For all intents and purposes, the weed, itself, is just a substrate for the opium.

When people talk about Thai stick, in America, it is the opiated variety they reference -because that is the quality that sets them apart from anything else in the weed-related world....for one, obvious reason.

Having said that....I have seen things being sold in dispensaries -basically buds wrapped around a stick, rolled in hash oil and wrapped with a red string...They were calling those Thai sticks, too. I assume the hash oil treatment was an attempt to reference the technique of "dipping" the wrapped weed in something...obviously opium-dipped sticks are illegal...so someone got the bright idea for a way to make a "pretend" version for the legal market. I suppose there's nothing to stop someone from misusing a name.

Thus, no one will ever see real Thai stick in the legal marijuana market. So beware the snake oil salesmen and their wild claims.

Apparently the only Thai you have experience with has been dipped in something. Not all good Thai was dipped back then. You made your point numerous times, let others enjoy the thread and share their experiences and maybe you'll learn something. Lol like any strain there's good, not so good, and absolute shit. I'm sure there's still some good ol' school Thai (any variety) being grown today. Chill dude its a weed related site, why do you seem so mad?

I'm not mad. I'm just answering the OP's question based on my experience with Thai sticks. I'm sure you're correct about there being some good old Thai weed around. I didn't think that was the question that the OP asked about, though...was it? Thread title says "Thai Stick"...but OP
s post was asking about Thai weed strains that are easy to grow indoors. I guess I was confused. My apologies.
