So I wanted to clear this up. When I do a google search for proper PH levels for cannabis, most of the responses say between 5.8 - 6.2 is optimum. But I find posts everywhere on multiple forums saying 6.5 - 7.5 is optimum. I find others that say between 6-7. What is the consensus here?

And I'm talking soil, standard top down watering, after nutrients are mixed into the watering pail.

The lower pH levels are for hydro with salts. With soil it should be higher.

fuckin great. now, how about some more information from people looking to laugh. I've got two sources verified, but yet I've seen so many more saying yet other levels. So far I think Bluelab's the winner. my apology if this has been covered, but I've found so much contradictory info...

With soil, the plant isn't the only living thing affected by the PH. The number of different organisms making up the microflora is probably in the billions or something. Some of the microbes even help to manage it, by expending energy I think..

Tell me about it , I set my ebb and flow 55 gallon reservoir to low 5s , within 24 hours it raises back up
To mid to high 6s . I have to add a small amount of
Ph down daily . Every 3.5 days h202 - and I change the reservoir out entirely after 7 days . I also run 4 large air stones in my reservoir , completely sealed and no light . I run emerald harvest liquid nutes and the clones seem to love it .

my soil grow I run FF nutrients and RO water , and have to add a small amount of ph up “usually around 5 flat “but I’m sure it would be fine as ph tends to creep in soil as well .

Sounds like you have lots of calcium carbonate in your water. That will add alkalinity and make the pH want to rise. Bubbling it will also raise it, but not as fast as alkalinity. What's your water like?
