and "Ron Paul",,,split both party's that's about all kindda like the "Independent's" do the same,,,The USA is a 2 Party system and will never change.
I don't know if you noticed, but Ron Paul is making a huge move to consolidate the power of Independents and Republicans. If Ron Paul gets the nod to run for President the Republican Party and wins the Republican party would likely move to a position that the average American actually understands and supports. This would make the Republican Party is the largest party as it sucks up many Independents and Libertarians. Of course, it wouldn't have much connection to the Republican party of the last 20 years. It would be a new party that had a much more Liberal ideology. Of course, I don't mean democrat make believe liberalism.

Here is why libertarians think they are republicans...Reagan made up the guise that republican stands for Liberty and he ran on liberty, simply not true, conservative 'values' are not liberty, to be conservative means you are for more economic liberty then social liberties.

Anyone who is an american citizen born and raised the american way is a libertarian essentially, unless your one of the MINORITY that are actually extremely liberal or extremely conservative. Even more so when it comes to the younger generations.

Ron Paul speaking infront of a bunch of young kids drinking beers:

Ron Paul is basically a left leaning libertarian like a lot of us, I used to think he was right leaning libertarian but as I learned more about his history and read his books over again I now feel without a doubt that hes defintely a left leaning libertarian because of his view on unions especially and also his anti-monoply ideas push him far to the left, far more then being pro-life can swing him back conservative because hes not really a typical pro lifer.

Liberalism (from the Latin liberalis, "of freedom")[1] is the belief in the importance of liberty and equal rights.[2] Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but most liberals support such fundamental ideas as constitutionalism, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, capitalism, free trade, and the freedom of religion.[3][4][5][6][7] These ideas are widely accepted, even by political groups that do not openly profess a liberal ideological orientation. Liberalism encompasses several intellectual trends and traditions, but the dominant variants are classical liberalism, which became popular in the eighteenth century, and social liberalism, which became popular in the twentieth century.

Dude this is why i dont vote, for example. Republicans (Bush) look what ended up happening the country's national security was a joke, housing market *skyrockets* we have a bull market and everything seems good. We invade other countries and it looks like everything is going well. Slowly the economy starts to go down and morale for the war effort starts to get low. People start to worry and election time comes around. People re-vote dumbass bush into office and all hell goes to shit. Economy is in shit, houses are being foreclosed at an unreal rate, then deficit increases by more billions of dollars. Re-election comes back, people vote for obama. Everyone blames obama for economy (bush fault) people expect change in 1 year, and thats not going to happen, everything seems to be getting better 1st year of office, then all of a sudden Obama goes the other way and starts BS promises he made and BS a lot of bills into congress we don't need. WE DONT NEED a stricter government that controls every aspect of what we do and how we decide things. We need to let things play out if corporations are dumb asses and don't know how to spend their money wisely and save it then fuck it let them bankrupt. there should be no bail outs. Shit i don't see anyone giving me a bailout, so why should they give it to those greedy cock suckers. Why don't we all just vote for someone who will actually do what the people want and not what is in their own personal agenda, we don't need to spend 2bil dollars on war every week, we don't need healthcare, and we certainly don't need corporate bailouts. What we need is FREE America and a leader who can lead its people not force them into his own ways.

No,,, Liberal to me mean's "Open-minded",,,You are voting "Republican",,,No matter what?
Yeap. I would rather flop back and forth than let one side ride out for a 10 or 20 years. Republicans will run it from 2012 to 2014 and then democrats will take the House probably and things will be as they should. The government being in gridlock an no one 'accomplishing' anything.

I dont support anyone, all these bastards promise a load of BS to get into office then they take out their own agenda. Until i actually see a guy sign a document that its in writing and actually shows me that he is serious then i might vote. Until then no, i will let America choose their leaders and watch them fail.

If the people like you voted for who someone they actually believed in, they would easily win. Instead, you don't vote at all. Ron Paul isn't perfect, but he is almost exactly what you just described, and for once, there is some chance it could happen if people like you actually tried.
