Altar I have seen Aesop live a few times. Pretty sick live. My fav song of his is daylight. But that's probably everyones fav. Ive been into the underground canadiann and Australian scene lately. Aztexts, classified, cyne, hill top hoods, bliss n esso, the herd etc... of course l.a. cats like cunning lynguists, common market, language arts crew, abstract rude, visionaries, osterich head etc....

C4mula, .mic moses, nu3tron, brawdcast, Phaise rock, war cloud, pro the leader, novacane, Los Vegas etc..

Used to like atmosphere the most years ago but he got way too emo for me.

Yeah atmosphere is a total downer now, haha. I still love a few choice tracks tho.

I am actually not a big aesop fan, though everyone tells me to listen to him... I had trouble getting into it when I tried. But I'm really liking his style when juxtaposed against this upbeat folk stuff.

Shit that's a lot of names, I'll have to check some of them out... name like three you'd recommend over the rest?

Thanks a lot for the music compliments man, that means a lot! I would absolutely love to collaborate and write hooks for some sick rap verses... I hope we can find a way to collaborate someday.

That light negatives loop was 100% improv'd... that was me writing that track pretty much... with just a looper pedal to build the loop up as I went... then I just faded it in once it sounded decent enough, lol.

I believe they were nirvana but I'm not sure right this moment as the sea of seeds website seems to be down for revamp. That's where I ordered em from.

I agree i just need to practice... laziness has been such a destructive force in my life. Weed didn't help with that, either.

Also, I've got like 'recorder phobia' or something... if there's a microphone turned on I get self-conscious about my volume levels and shit and it can be a lot harder to flow. I have delivered some ridiculously stellar performances for small audiences... but damned if I can ever do it when the microphone is on... the recordings I do put up are the "best I can do while recording" so far, haha.
