Something happened in my country 4-5 months ago. I read this on the grow forum site in my country. There are 3 known big grow shops in my country. Narcotics goes to one of them and asks for all customer data. Because most of the people who shop here grow cannabis, the police are aware of this. Based on the data received by the police, those who shop here are started to be followed, but only heavy and large orders following. For example, 1000w ballast, hps, grow tent etc. in one order. The police raided the house of these people at 6 o'clock in the morning. Many have been caught growing in their homes. The aforementioned grow market confirmed this, saying that they gave the information to the police out of necessity. After that day, everyone does their grow shopping by hand. I know it's ridiculous, but situations and methods are different in every country. That's why I'm going to shop by hand by going 450km. :D
may I ask which country are you from

Previous message. :D
sorry my bad, I missed that. :eyesmoke:

I would recommend MaxiBloom as it's cheap and effective...there may be better but it will work just fine.

You may also need pH up or pH down, especially if you are growing hydro.... depends on your water source.

If they don't have pH up/down, you can use vinegar as pH down, or use baking soda (mixed with water) as pH up

You may what to consider a pH testing drops if you don't have a pH pen

Far left is too low pH...far right is too high pH, aim for somewhere in the middle

BTW: park your car several blocks away and walk to the grow-op shop.....and pay in cash

I've seen "Midnight Express" and the jails don't look like fun in Turkey

I am sure that we are maybe 20 years behind the USA in democracy, justice, technology and all other issues. I'm in Turkey. For 20 years a disgusting person has been ruling us and everything is going very badly.
Well just don't fall afoul of the law. Growing cannabis is not worth going to jail.

When I was younger the movie "Midnight Express" scared people. So did getting caught in Texas.

Where I'm at in the USA things have been much more liberal with regards to cannabis possession and growing for decades. Before legalization 4-5 plants would have meant the police just ripping your plants out and tearing them apart. Now I don't think they give a damn about it at all if you had more than your legal plant count. Unless you're running some large blackmarket grow they just ignore it.

But they have no idea what people have growing as they don't have access to power bills, bank statements, etc... Even if they did the relatively small amount of power for the typical grower is not enough to cause any concern. At least here in the USA.

Actually, it's literally a show. Occasionally, such operations are carried out, then they are on the news and the public is informed that they are struggling with it. It always happens to good people who want to have fun and grow a few plants on their own. Nothing happens to big cocaine barons, heavy traders, businessmen and mafia. This is how the system generally works. (:

btw, i'm talking about my own country. I know there is no such bullshit in USA.

Thanks everyone for the comments and advice. I will grow it with GH Maxibloom as you said. The topic can be removed as it serves its purpose. In terms of no pollution.

I don't know what is available in your country but try finding a garden center not geared towards cannabis, and look at the nutrients they sell.

Look for a container of powdered nutrients with a 20-10-20 N-P-K ratio (or anywhere close to it) and one more with a 5-8-12 npk ratio and check they also have micronutrients.

Get a container of plain Epsom salts, magnesium sulfate, as many nutrient mixes lack these.

This is all you need basically, and it will do well. Worry less about brands, they all make the same shit.

Most of the nutrients that are good, and cheap are going to be a blue colored crystally powder, look for these

Hi guys again.GH Maxibloom product out of stock? I asked the growshops here and they said it hasn't been in stock for a few months. I'm looking at Amazon or something, it's out of stock there too. Has this product been discontinued?

By the way, if I can't find it, what kind of combination do you think GH Maxigrow+GH FloraBloom (liquid) would be?

Maxigrow values;

Nitrogen 2.29%
Phosphorus 2.18%
Potassium 11.9%
Calcium 4.29%
Magnesium 1.21%
Sulfur 1.2%
-----------
Maxibloom values;

Nitrogen 1.15%
Phosphorus 6.54%
Potassium 11.9%
Calcium 3.58%
Magnesium 2.11%
Sulfur 1.6%

So it looks like I'm going to be deficient in phosphorus and magnesium. I think I can close this with GH Florabloom too.

-------

GH FloraBloom (Liquid) values;

Phosphorus 2.18%
Potassium 3.4%
Magnesium 1.81%
Sulfur 2%

if i can find it i will just buy GH Maxibloom as you recommended. If I can't find it, do you think Maxigrow+Flora Bloom is a good pair? Need anything else?

I use Advanced Nutrients Connoisseur bases. I got both grow & bloom sets in 1L for $60 total so I can't complain.
I also use Real Growers Recharge in Veg for NSB nitrogen solubilizing bacteria.
MammothP or Plant Success Organics (cheaper) for PSB Phosphorus Solubilizing Bacteria in bloom. In late bloom I use Advanced Nutrients Piranha, because that's the only form of B. Mucilaginosus I could find as a Si & KSB potassium solubilizing bacteria. I'm researching purple non sulfur bacteria from Quantum Light. So basically a custom tailored rhizosphere & can use less Nutrients is the purpose.
I have TPS cal/mag & Dynagrow Protekt for Si that I sparingly use in low doses.
I have Fulvic Acid powder that I use as a natural chelator, I also use seaweed , alfalfa & fish emulsions from microlife. I will be using cytoplus in bloom this go around as a booster. I use Vitazyme for a brassinosteroid & triacontanol source, Green Planet Massive Bloom formulation 1-2-3 has tria, aminos, 8 different sugar/carbs food for micro bennies and micronutrients. Their weight product is solid too. I use Advanced Nutrients Nirvana, B52, Bud ignitor, Big Bud & or Kushie Kush for low dose npk bloom booster. I use TidalVision High Tide for chitin & aspirin salicylic mix for SAR & Harpin Proteins for JAR applications. I try to shoot for a hybrid nutrient approach, but natural plant pgrs only. I grow in a coco/soil/ perlite / biochar / diatomaceous earth with green sand mix. Yes I know its all alot, but I use low doses and some I use for in teas , foliar or root drenches & inoculants.. if I am going to use Advanced Nutrients I learnt in the past they aren't all that and I dropped or replaced some of their lineup. I try to use as much organic based Nutrients I can source, but I do use Advanced Nutrients in low doses 2ml/L only.
I personally like playing mad scientist I watch my ph, add aloe to my water & watch my ladies religiously. I bump ppm up slowly to see what works best, all the while a mix of organic & inorganic for my rhizosphere. I'm kinda ocd, but it's never disappointed me.

Unfortunately, this brand is not available in the growshops in my country. There are well-known brands such as AN, Canna, Hesi, General Hydroponics, General Organics, Biobizz. Can I get a suggestion other than Jacks? Even if it's not AN, since you say it's bad, I trust you. I guess I was a little confused that it was ranked #1 in Growdiaries.
Don't listen to the Advanced nutrient haters! They're lying to you, yes its expensive but it does grow some really hood stuff. Jacks nutrients is over rated

Do you use AN?
And others but have used AN for over 20 years. Got gallon jugs in 2001 of the pre-pH Perfect 3-part then tried Sensi and Connie then went back to the 3-part about 7 years ago when I bought gallon jugs of the newer stuff. Was doing a lot of DWC, 50 grows since 2001, then switched to ProMix HP and they worked great in that too. I did some research and the new version is a lot more diluted than the original so last year bought 1L jugs of the 3-part Jungle Juice which has the same NPK ratios as the old stuff and like it has no pH Perfect so back to checking pH at first to establish it's values when mixed with RO.

I dis a little write-up about the nutes for a post a while back and saved a copy.

I've been using AN 3-part for 20 years. I bought gal jugs about 7 years ago and just now noticed that the N-P-K ratios have changed but I've been using it just like the older stuff that has the same ratios as the Jungle Juice and the GH 3-part. This may explain some of the problems I've seen in flowering especially when I switch to Lucas Formula feeding after the stretch. I have 1L bottles of the older pre-pH Perfect 3-part and dug them out to check.

Old AN, Jungle Juice and GH 3-part are; Grow - 2-1-6, Micro - 5-0-1, Bloom - 2-5-4

My 5 yo AN 3-part pH Perfect is Grow - 1-0-4, Micro - 2-0-0, Bloom - 1-3-4 (Has the Gorilla on the jugs)

Totally throws thing off to what I had become so accustomed to. I'm going to have to sit down and reformulate some of my mixes to be feeding each nute at the same ratios I was before. Much more diluted now too. With less than half the N as before it throws the Lucas feeding way off. No wonder the old leaves yellow out so fast and early.

I also have some REMO nutes from winning a 7 - 250ml bottle kit in a raffle at a hydro store I deal with and their ratios are different again.

G - 2-3-5
M - 3-0-1
B - 1-4-7

Flip a coin I guess or dust off the math books and nail it down.

Don't you get sick of paying for water? Must add up after 20 years?
