The Battle Of The Bouncing Tits...

alot of people said going into the slums (favela's) was a mistake. but honestly, i made friends with a couple guys that lived there and they were always with me, but honestly i still never had any problems. maybe its because im dark complected with dark hair, i dont know, maybe they thought i was local. i always just wore jeans and a tee out there. But, yeah i've been to rio just sight seeing, and had an awesome time. i also spent a couple weekends on isla bella...View attachment 1310670 probably one of the most beautiful places i've ever been. I was in Brazil for work in Jundiai, but my 2nd trip i had more time off and go to see alot of places. The smoke i found was actually decent, it was all pressed but ok...and the hash was definitely comparable to some of the better that ive had here in the states.
That's true about the hash, it's not bad here, but the weed is just bad man, well in my experience ofcourse. I have had the odd good batch come through (in pressed form, little bricks) and have also bought some nugs aswell. But no where near as accessible as the normal brick stuff.

I have been through a small favela, and have friends that have been through bigger ones, and nothing really happened. I guess it's more like, the probability of you getting assaulted goes up massively hahaha. I don't want to sound like an asshole, but those guy's that you made friends with would have sold you out in a second! That's the problem. No trust.

It's good that nothing happened with you though, where is that Isla Bella by the way?? It looks familiar.

oh and do they still have "sexy time" on tv late at night? that shit cracked me up.
Hahahaha yeha man on the channel "Multishow" it's awesome, and all homegrown too, seriously brazil has it all, huge natural resources deposit's, fucking hot women, beautiful beaches, and cheap beer! Just the weed that is lacking. I'm hoping to better that though :P

i also went to some small rural towns in sao paulo state. those were nice too. embu SP was probably my favorite, it is basically a tourist trap, but i found alot of cheap silver stuff and alot of granite carvings that would be outrageous priced here. oh and i cant find a fuckin bartender anywhere here that can make a decent caipirinha pingha.lol. fuckin 51 cacaca is about ten times the 3 bucks or whatever it is there.
Hahaha cachaça!! Good shit! Potent though, made frm sugar cane for those that don't know. And Caipirinha! Awesome aswell, make some yourself man, it's easy as, and you can use vodka, tequila and even sake.

1. Peel the lemons and cut them into slices. When you peel try and get most of the white fluffy underpeel off aswell. Put them into a pint glass or anything similar in size.

2. Add sugar (should be roughly 4 spoonfull's) and start crushing the lemon with pestle. Don't be too violent though, you want the slices to stay in tact.

3. Fill the glass up with ice (literally to the top)

4. Then poor desired alcohol over it. Mix it all up and you have yourself a Caipirinha. I don't usually fill the glass with vodka, but get close, and you usually go for a refill when you get about 2/3 the way through with the same lemon because not all the sugar dissolves.

Anyway, it's a great summer drink man!

how did "the battle of the bouncing tits" turn into a discussion on brazil? ha. anyway...i also miss churrascaria's too. very much. there's one nearby in cincinatti but i cant eat there for less than 60 bucks...so needless to say i dont get to partake in that experience very often. I had some of the best food i have ever eaten in brazil! Even at barbecues at peoples houses were unreal! seems like someone was always cooking outside. You got me wanting to check out plane ticket prices. lol. thanks (obrigado) for bringing back fond memories!

I investigated this as I'm actually a chef, cos it was fucking me off aswell!

The lemon's we are used to (the big yellow ones) are Sicilian Lemon's
The smallr green ones (typical brazilian ones) are infact lemon's or big lime's if you were to translate it exactly. Lima = Lime - Limão = Lemon or big lime
Then there are the lime's which are smaller here than the normal lemon's.

It's fucked up man, but I'm pretty sure that's it, I was looking it up for a while hahaha! But ofcourse I could be wrong.....

Yeah we kinda over-rided this thread but whatever it was a pretty useless one.

Churrasco! It's the best way to eat meat! You have one close to you?! That's aweomse man! If all goes according to plan I will be opening one back in NZ aswell! I'm pretty sure it isn't a bad idea, New Zealanders are massive carnivores hahahaha The only problem would be paying a butcher to cut the cut's for me, because the cut's here are pretty different to the cut's there.

Mmmmmmmmm man I'm hungry! Picanha, Flie mignon, Contra File, Fraldinha, Alcatra, Cupin, Costela!!!!!

Did you ever get to a costelão?? A beef rib's restaurante?? They're awesome aswell!

Oh and Não dar nada fala sobre o grande Brasil com voce!! Foi um prazer! hahaha

Hahaha you got the lingo down man! Good shit. It's a hard language to learn. Especially in comparison with english!
How long did you stay all up??
Hehehehe

Yeah man hope this plan comes to fruition, I would buy the beef from NZ (some world class beef, which we export most of!) but I would have to teach a butcher how to cut or find a brazilian butcher, that would probably be more the way to go. But yeah man, should be interesting.......
