I pH my DWC units I built. Not water for plants or clones. Farmers would laugh if they only knew. I'll tell you this much - in India and other countries where they grow fields of pot (MX included) they probably do not pH test the water from the river. I know for a fact they don't in MX. Been there and seen it. Common ag fertilizers thrown on if anything. More likely chicken shit, cow shit, people shit (oh yeah you pinche gringos). Hell idiots on here talk about pissing on their plants for the N. After they pH it of course.

If you tape a glass up so it's totally dark (like inside an aerocloner chamber) and darken the lid too, your clones will root in city tap water. Chlorine (more likely chloramine in your city water nowadays) in small amounts keep bacteria and algae from my roots! And I do believe that. Good luck however you do it.

Im going au-naturel, city tap in a light proof cup, changing the water every two days, outta direct light in my grow room, they will def get some light, and its going to be 24/7 so should i move them somewhere else or does it matter, also have you tried cutting your stem in half for more root surface area with this straight water method? or what about shaving off the cambieum layer? in about a week or so im going to take some cuttings, i want them to have roots by november, about when im going to flower, i havent decided what im going to do with them when it is time to flower, maybe just leave them in the corner for a few extra mini colas, but i digress, thank you for you patience up until this point, i just want to have all my questions answered before hand so i dont mess up any potential children of mine
