Yes, this is true. If someone wants to share helpful information thats great. Like a link to a review or their personal experiences are great.

But saying things like a product will turn their buds into instant mids with no context isnt that at all. Its just a random internet stranger being negative for no productive reason.

At first glance I also was like, looks like an overpriced dehydrator, but the description claims it has better temp regulation sp maybe its worth it. If anyone has actually used one, would be great to hear their input.
The temp is still higher than 60 degrees and has air blowing all up on the buds. If you need a fast dry a freeze dryer is a much better method.

A lot of people said the WeDryer would produce poor results too but I needed to get some plants dry before traveling so I took a crack at it anyways, and it actually worked pretty well (though I do think it was overpriced). I use it for small harvests all the time now. People on the internet like to regurgitate other peoples opinions without personal experience. It creates an echo chamber, and frequently a very negative one.

Agreed, but a freeze dryer is far more expensive I believe? Not super sure, havent looked in a while.

And again, theres a huge gap between saying "hey, thats a good deal, but heres a better product" vs "that thing sucks, heres zero evidence to support my opinion".

Im not so much debating the validity or peoples opinions about a dehydrator anyways. More the way people carry themselves in a thread thats ostensibly to share deals.

Its whatever, every once in a while I feel the need to point out that we could do with a little less negativity on the internet, as much as I know it will fall on deaf ears. Im off to do othee things with my day.

You mean you believe the description?
You better avoid home shopping channel with a passion
And I suppose that nobody would remove negativity in product reviews ?

This shit has been discussed already. The evidence is already in the threads. No need for more.

HerbsNow Dryer on sale for $100 until tonight.

I agree with most here, that is food dehydrator. It’s for drying oregano and thyme. It will dry your weed to a crisp if that is what you want.

Edit: I have a food dehydrator myself and have tried it drying weed. Don’t bother. It makes great jerky, I dry hot peppers, basil, etc every year. Does not do well with weed at all. Does that help?

This is just pedantic nonsense and the exact kind of post Im talking about this. A review does not inherently have to be on the site under the control of the products manufacturer. There are plenty of reliable sources.

I also love that your argument is to not trust reviews but trust you lot of random internet strangers. You all seem far more reliable...

Also, the home shopping channel?? Way to date yourself my man lol. I mean, is that even around still around??

That HerbsNow drier seems like a good waste of money, so it's not really a deal no matter how you slice it. There are much cheaper ways to quick-dry your bud if that's what you'rr after. Most of us are trying to slow down the dry however, and avoid pointing fans at the bud when slow-drying.
I bought a couple cheap bar lights I saw here since I got curious. Opened them up and the plastic smells toxic as hell. Probably some lead paint or some shit. I'd be scared to plug them in. Anyways that was a good waste of money too,

Are you knocking before trying? To speak honestly about what is best, one must try every method and be able to back it up with scientific data. If the dryer is proven to have higher THC% levels in the final product by lab tests compared to "low n slow" would you still make that claim? Can you support your best theory with anything other than your opinion?
I don't need to eat a turd to know it tastes like shit, not everything in life needs to be experienced..some things are just common sense.

User error. How long did you run it for? Or did you see the HerbsNow for sale and try to mimic the tech in your Nesco?
No, I built a thermoelectric wine cooler drying unit similar to a cannatrol. It works fantastic, long slow drys and I control the temp and rh all the way. I can look at the herb drying dehydrator and see that’s what it is. Just put a temp probe from an Inkbird in your Nesco and run it off one of your pid controllers and you’ll see. It’s not rocket science. It uses heat and a fan, it will dry your bud bud too quickly, try it yourself is what I ask you, I already have. Just the fan directly on the buds is a problem, then it has no way to control the humidity. Why are you arguing without trying it first. Wheres your evidence it works? At least I tried for myself, you’re just spewing some companies advertising with any real knowledge.
