The Best PM cure

so this thread is intended to get peoples personal experiences with pm and how they deal with it because i notice very many different opinions and many lack details needed for people to understand how to go about applying or the mixture maybe.

Ive used the Skim milk to water spray
How this works: Mix 1 Part Skim milk/Fat free milk with 9 parts of water into the apropriate size container, then simply spray the foliage coating everything.
This should be done with lights off, This method is Good in veg, ive heard its ok in flower but it sounds kinda sketchy to me... buds absorbing milk water no thanks.

The bad side to this is that it doesnt actually cure the PM it just changes the Ph on the foliage so the PM in incapable of developing on the leaves.

If i could continue to get reputable members to contribute their first hand experience and get this stickied by a mod i think this thread could be very informative and useful to all of the members, pm comes up frequently.

I have used Serenade seemed to have solved the problem. I sprayed it with the lights on(1000w MH) and it killed all my plants. Problem solved no more PM.

I have used the skim milk method and it worked pretty well. I was applying it every 3 days while in veg and flower. I don't think it affected my buds while I was applying during flower or atleast I didn't notice. My buddy used some other stuff he got from the hydro store so ill talk with him and post his experience with other remedies.

so spraying serenade with your lights on killed the plants?
Yes, bought that stuff from local hydro shop the dude told me it was okay to spray with lights on. It killed almost all the plants 3 survived the rest were so burnt i tossed em. The 3 that survived haven't shown any signs of PM and are now giants. Check my journal the bubba kush, spicy white devil and the LSD all had PM spots and now are pretty dang healthy after the initial setback.

my grow room environment is dialed in. i get it sometimes on my clones when they are under the dome but that's it. i keep my veg room at 50% and flower at 35-40%. plus i spray my plants with neem oil every 2 weeks through the 2nd week of flower. never had pm on any of my plants.

im now using serenade, just did my first spray in week 5 of flower it seemed to knock alot of that shit down already, im gonna continue to use this to keep my buds pm free, would anyone say there is a time in flowering where spraying serenade would be unacceptable? should i spray again in like say 3 days if i see the pm?

How can you spray that stuff in flower? It smells so terrible i wouldent even wanna smoke thoes buds that shit smells soooo nasty. Gonna have to post an update and let us know if it affected the taste cause it seems like it would

i actually found a different forum before i decided to spray where another grower sprayed in flower. he said it decreased his resin production but didnt affect but taste or smoke, and in his journal his shit looked good, they dont smell anymore to be honest and the pm is almost gone

Green cure, which is just potassium bicarbonate, works very good for PM and can be used up until harvest, OMRI organic certified.
It doesn't smell.

so i notice some spotting of pm probably because i couldnt get real close to the plants with the auto mixing thing and the hose, i plan to spray again tomorrow

i will second this. if you have pm, with green cure, spray at least every 10 days, and it shouldnt show its face.

running some freebies through right now that got PM. sprayed them once over a month ago, and it just now popped back up, because I wasnt maintaining my spraying.

ive used PM wash and SNS 244. PM wash seemed like you need to use it constantly throughout the grow (used it for 2 weeks through veg) it didn't really do well in getting rid of the PM, I would see more a few days after spraying. Good thing is you spray with lights on and there is no leaf burn. I just recently used SNS 244 last week, that stuff gets PM out. I sprayed with lights on and got some burn from it, it also burned a lot of the young growth (there was a warning on the label about this), but they seemed to recover the next few days. haven't seen PM since.

great feedback, im going to be looking into the green cure spray for my pm problem. on the serenade it says spray every 7 days, but im about 3 days deep from last spray and i see a lil bit of pm that i may have missed on the first one, can i spray again this soon or will it burn my ladies?

i sprayed with greencure yesterday, great results, no smell, omri listed and usable up until harvest. not to mention it was inexpensive, $11 at my local hydro for a jar that will last me forever haha

I use eagle 20... works great but take 30 days to get out of the plant.
Actually, Myclobutanil takes 60 days to get out of the plant...And you should ALWAYS wear gloves, long sleeves, goggles and a respirator...Better yet, get a disposable hazardous materials suit at home depot. It's not acutely toxic, but that shit will give your kids birth defects. It's been PROVEN to reduce pup weight and increase the frequency of stillborns in rats...I know I know, those are rats...but why risk it?

And NEVER EVER spray in flower...Personally, I got a bottle and sprayed plants down once, then read more about Eagle20 anhd Myclobutanil and ended up throwing away the plants and all my buckets that got exposed to it. But it works better than just about anything. Period.
