Hi y'all, I'm new here, and came around to check out what people think about the FI I've got vegging. Yikes! Here's hoping I like it better than you all did, 'cause that's what I'm workin with...
The seed company's page says to expect a 3-4 foot plant in a 2gal container. I'm using hydro, but anyway: at what size should one flip these to flowering to achieve that 3 foot plant? I don't need 'em any bigger than that, that's for sure...

hate to be the person to bring you down, but you should pull those FI's and start a new grow with something of better quality. the FI sucks ass, and anything with FI in it will suck just the same. it's garbage, so you should treat it as such.

they are mostly indica so arounf 18"flip to 12/12 they should hit 3 feet.

so raider you grew white russian,i have seeds i was going to germ,i want to cross white russian with,c99 or geniusxdeep chunk or cross it with my prized chemoxrhino.so your saying white russian is really poten stuff when you find the right phenoe.

actually look back. i personally (maybe i missed it) but i didn't directly see anyone bad talking the black. unless a sleepy high somehow means something negative? haha. the sleepy high is just brought on by the amount of cannabinoid molecules in the strain.
actually the black is very very strong stuff. and this is just about the seeds that i have heard. not these "original phenos only lucky people in florida have" i dont know shit about that haha. but the seeds from BC Bud Depot I do know. a friend of mine worked with her.
It is a very sleepy high (a.K.a. it has a lot of medical values). "Sleepy strains" have medical values that help with pain relief - sleep problems - anxiety. A lot of benefit.
I have heard that the smell gets "musky" while flowering. ummmm i can't think of much - but The Black is a strain i'm definitely looking into. A lot of people see "black weed as the new purple weed."
And i dont know if black weed will replace the purps - in fact i doubt it - but i think it will get pretty fuckin popular. A lot of people want to see more of this around.

Why go black when u can have frosty white and skunky green. I mean does any1 really like black licorice. Fuck no !! And its not true about the blacks having bigger buds either lol.

you quoted me and then asked me how my Burmese plant came out. so i'm guessing you're talking to me. but i said nothing about Burmese plants. unless that's another name for The Black. But i'm pretty sure it's just called "The Black" it's the strain from BC Bud Depot.
But they were my buddies and they came out beautiful. That's what i wanted to get at.
haha in this case you get huge dark black buds that are as well fully covered with beautiful and delicious trichromes (crystals). When you see these buds - they're just gorgeous looking. And you can really tell that they have a strong strong medical affect.

I learned to grow with "the black" my mentor chose to do a SOG method with about 15-20 of them. The bud smells like death and gives you such an amazing high i swore I could astral project myself to other places. The colas were about 6-8 inches when we harvested and it was delcious to the last nug. Where I live In Alaska a oz of bomb shit goes for 200-250 and this stuff was sold 20 a gram straight up. Hope this helps you decide.

Don't want to be a bearer of bad news but there is alot of bad press about the bc bud depot out there, not sending orders and/or responding to emails. I was thinking about using them but after researching didn't think it was worth the risk... Of course to each their own, just a heads up.. Good luck with whatever you grow

This may be an old forum buy oh well. I ordered from bcbd over the phone and ordered 6god bud and 7 black( received 8 ) didn't have the funds to put them in separate pots and didn't know male/female ratio. Needless to say out of 8 blacks, 0 males. 1 god bud male. There appears to be 2-3 phenos so far, one with real skinny leaves, one with fat leaves, and a tall skinny leaf. They smell almost sweet but with a kick of hash. Can't wait to see if I have a black pheno!
