the black that ive taken clones from coming into its last phases, with a 400 hps.
coming along great so far a buds have male glands coming out not alot but i can see a few why does it do that? it hasent gone under much stress that i know i got an ozenator thing is there and my temp stays between 70 and 80 gets down to 60 somtimes at night but humidity is good its my only plant right now but the male gland thing coming out of buds looking like a little banana type thing has been on a few of my harvests, is it weak strain? or did somthing go wrong ? did they not switch into flowering properly? casue it still needs a few more days till its done , well whatever just wondering, its gonna be awesome either way:weed:

probably the strain has something to do with it, but usually stress causes them to hermie. something like a light leak or switching light cycles frequently. your plants looks delicious besides the nanners. id try to find a different strain if its been doing this to you for more than 1 grow.

yea that surely turns any purple strain really pruple even leaves i think. i want to try their gravity for rock hard nugs. i might go for one of fox farms flower hardeners cus i think they are safer products. anyway man enjoy that thing and good luck with clones

black is just the name of the strain it doesnt mean shit bro. skywalker doesnt mean its a jedi master strain, and warlock doesnt mean that the strain controls an army lol. its just names they give strains because they engineered it. as far as description goes then that should be the best they can do, but its true some seedbanks dont give out enough info about the strain with their descriptions!!

they come in seeds not too many people have it though, its like 90 or more for a sack of them, yeah i was hoping they would turn out darker, it might have been too warm but i dont think so i havent had too many purple or dark strains to know what makes them fully dark, any purple growers out there got any tips besides cooler temps?
i noticed the more i would flush them the more they would turn as the yellow would come in it would slowly fill in really dark

how does having bigger than normal swollen calyx at the end of flowering in any way mean it's turning hermie? I used to grow a few strains of skunk ss,#1,etc.. and the ss and #1 would always begin to have higher than normal calyx swelling near the end of flower never any seed and have seen may other strains do that as well grow after grow. so why should he look into another strain due to swollen calyx there is nothing wrong with it that I'm aware of unless it's 100% hermie

he said in the post that its put out pollen sacks the last 2 times he tried to grow it. So if it was me id be looking for something else. I never saw a sign of hermie in the pics but thats what the man said so yea i think he can find a good mother that will put out same quality without the nanners.

yeah nanners suck but not too bad because usually when i see them its like the end of flowering, this is my first black grow.
nanners are definantly not the same as swollen calyxes, nanners ive read happens when flowering is too long or from stress , which could be from anything from light leaks , temps, humidity, females can all be pretty similar, hard to read haha ahh whatever i only had a few nanners and saved them to make some feminized black seeds

yea thats nice, remember they only last a bit so you gotta store the pollen right or it goes bad quickly

i have seen some strains that will have hermie traits that will come out late in bloom. I was told that it was the result of working with feminized strains in breeding. or that it was a result of the continual inbreeding of genes to try and magnify cetrtain traits.

im starting to think though that if the seed i got was already feminized that the seeds i make will be really hermie
