Morning Joe has been calling the Trump defense team that all morning, the nickname fits too. All the lawyers on TV are appalled by the (lack of) the Trump defense, most legal eagles are ROTFL at these clowns. In a regular court of law he'd be finished and that's where this conspiracy might end up one day, it was illegal as well as impeachable..

I had not heard anybody call them that until today. It is one of my favorite books and I have always thought of them that way.

Joe had a laugh at Trump's defense team, the "Confederacy Of Dunces" and I think most lawyers look at it this way too, including John Roberts. A good rant, by a lawyer, funny.
