I would argue that it is. Even Marx foresaw the inevitable result of capitalism as early as the 1860s. I'm sure many would disagree with me. Capitalism is great when geared towards competition and technological progress, can't really deny that. But when it comes to income and wealth inequality, capitalism ensures there will be economic classes; few who control much, many who control none.

You lost me a bit at the end there but it is hard to give a percentage to how "capitalist" we are. That would take a lot of information to determine: an analysis of data from all industries, virtually all businesses, and government policies that affect them. To me, it is most important that both socialized and privatized markets are fair and produce positive outcomes.
