The Eternal Cannabis Terrarium (closed system)

Hello everyone!

I had an idea that, maybe, I could try and grow small cannabis plants, inside small terrariums, or closed systems that attempt to emulate the natural environment, but on a very small scale. Something like this (but quite a bit more complex):

What do you guys think? You think its possible? What problems you think I could run into?

The end goal, is to be able to have a system of growing weed (for personal use), that is very portable, light, cheap, easy to make and requires basically no input (water, fertilizer, or otherwise) other than light itself.

have you ever grown cannabis?

its a neat idea, and there are some no till masters on here doing minimal soil ammending and using their leaves stems as mulch. but an enclosed system like that thrives on humidity being constant. this won't work with flowering cannabis as you need airflow as well to inhibit mold. at least that's my thinking.

i would suggest leaning the basics first with proven methods so that you can learn how the plant grows and responds before trying new methods that may or may not work as expected. its easy then to tweak an input or change environmental factors and see how that affects things vs the proven method.

Nope...... Terrariums are generally for ornamental purposes. Their is a reason why low iron glass greenhouses with food crops have controlled environments.
