The fishing thread ( not about fish fertilizer)

I fillet them and toss the skin. Then batter and fry them. Closest thing to ocean white fish. But bluegill is good too battered and fried just more work for me.

Peace man.

A gill is lopp the head, gut and a quick spooning for scales
Rinse, pat dry, dust in seasoned flour, cornstarch and rice flour. Fry in beef lard after the fries. Cleanest fish flavor ever.
And it is about 3 gills / minute until you get bored.
Nice mount. We have monsters here. But yours taste a bit less fishy in that size. I catch and release if not eating or feeding someone.
Peace and enjoy.

I usually do catch and release, but I caught this lady and my friend wanted to bring it to his girlfriends dad to get mounted. I was like Fuck That, If anyone's getting it mounted it's me, but I would get it done if the dude gave me a deal. He called him and the dude said $50 so I said fine and I kept it. I've caught way bigger and let them go. I only mounted this girl due to the situation. This was in SD though and the fishing is awesome there.

Oh, and the smaller walleye taste better and less fishy, but they're all good if you ask me.

It is all good. Most fish, and not an insinuation towards you,are mortally wounded after being hooked, horsed and improperly handled.

And I had a few huge specimens of most fish here. Not my thing is all. And nice fish. 28"? 8-9lbs.? Must be fewer in CO. And more worthy a deed. Honestly come try our rivers at the right time. You will see. Sincere peace.

Walleye are a little tougher than a lot of fish. They also don't usually swallow the shit like trout will. They mouth it. That's part of the reason I love them so much. I like catch and release. I'm just trying to make them smarter, lol.

I'm right by Silver and Gold metal waters here in CO. When fly fishing, the trout do the same kinda shit and get hooked in the lip so they don't die after. I grew up trout fishing and know how sensitive they are.

I'm really happy you get that. Most people don't. And for them to hook a walleye or steelhead it would be an accident or a swallowed hook. The rest of our trout are brutal monsters with the right presentation. Hook themselves.

I am a cruel tormentor of fish. I still am sickened by the floating flesh fools leave behind. Not you.

No shit man. I've already mentioned about how sensitive they can be in this thread I swear, lol.

Freshness, oil, breading and cook. Love it on occasion. I buy fresh and feed wife and kid. I'll pass most times. I pretty much lived on fish for a large portion of my youth.
I grew up eating lots of fish too but I was born in Seattle.

If you go to the Pier 54 location, beware of the seagulls if you eat outside, lol. It's fun as hell though.

Okay. I'm trying to work this hole. TY for the conversation and needed change of focus. I wasn't running sliding hooks or casting hardware. I would load you a bowl and see what you fish for after that. A good, crap, it is like 11PM there. A good night then. Morning here. 001.jpg

Nope. I will eat lobster, crab, and shrimp. If it Scudder in good. I'd it swims I just don't like it. It's weird but it's true.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad new, but shrimp swim, lol. Lobster can too kinda. I have a feeling you'd like calamari (squid to the lapers, lol.) but they also swim.
