Frenchy, I just hand pressed a piece and then used the hot water on another. Both were dried 4 days and cured for one month before today.

Also, how long a cure do you feel is needed after pressing in the case of well dried resin like this?

After pressing there is a lot going on in the mass of resin. It goes into an active state where it literally "digest" all leaves matter and trichomes membranes as resin is by definition "corrosive". It will take a few days to week depending on the mass. I call that curing because of the type of extraction (ice water) and the need to play it safe against mold.

I must say that the hand pressing was 30 mins of pure pleasure, literally seeing, feeling and smelling the process of trichomes melting together and how the piece changed was beautiful . Also, the weight of the loose resin was exactly the same as the finished piece.
I then bottle pressed the rest. I did this with two batches One was dried 4 days then cured a month before pressing and the second I pressed in the same way after 6 days drying. I'll report my findings after they are both cured 4 to 8 weeks.

If the trim is dry then yes treat them as you would flowers, properly dried, cured and stored until your ready to use them. If your going for fresh frozen then you want to use it up soon as possible

yes but it's only safe in the freezer for a short amount time. I would say a month or two tops that may even be too long

It looks very much like the one I use from Boldtbags if smaller, the only concern would be to make sure that the plastic is food grade.
