was thinking micro plane for this run ive never done it before frenchy how long would you freeze your patties before grating? i know you dont do this method but maybe you had some insight?
I would never freeze my trichomes or my trims. Micro planing work fine if you put your patty in the fridge.

Put the micro plane in the freezer and glove your hands and keep them cold. My chunks warm up so fast it takes me several fridge trips to get it all planed :)

haha i usually freeze trimmings but was told its best to run fresh. whats ur opinion on this. ps im using bubble bags.. i watched subcools video on utube and copied
I personally never freeze my trims. Leaf material is made of 75% water, when that water become ice it will take more space and so will destroy the leaves from the inside out = chlorophyl, lot of it

Just tried to make a cannoli using the hot wine bottle and sandwich bag
problem was I was using my 160 bag and dry ice
what is the problem with dry ice keif besides not running the 73 bag?

Frenchy, your hash by far is the best I've ever had. what to make is truly an art that I wish many could try. Honestly, it makes me debating on using solvents but the material you must have is quiet, pretty.

The Cheese trims are really good but nothing special. Yes please think again before using solvents because Hashish can be that good and you could do it.

Hey Frenchy, Just did first try with being very fastidious about the trim being super clean of twigs and leaves In addition I used half the material I usually use but the same water level and a bit less ice. The yield surprised me almost the same as I got using 2x as much and the 3 washes [73]look identical, so quality is looking good! One question though, when I filter the water through the 25 before discarding I've been getting hairs and or fibers . I'm very careful about cleanliness so if this is not normal I guess the trim is not clean enough though I've never found this in any previous attempts prior to using the 25? I paid attention to your advice on spin time too :)

Just means that you washed it all off of the 73 and 45 micron material :) My bucket under the 25 had residue that looked like hash to me. I put it under the microscope and it was just debris and dirt.

Smelled like dirt too.

Cheers,
Mo

Mine was in the 25, but in any case that's good news to me Mo, thanks. This is such a learning experience ,I guess I'm coming to the conclusion that only way to be sure of every step is to do each and every one yourself. I better get myself some beans !

I will try, I wish/hope to get better material to try again. Maybe then i'll get better results.
