Thers 5 regs here. The 4 others just broke ground this wk. They went into their cups after cracking their shells but did not shoot off fir awhile I guess. When i first dropped on the 17th into paper towels & windex many cracked shells & never shot tails. Man, I'm stating to think somebody set me up for failure with that Windex trick. Muddafucka!
So I'm working with x2 mystery seeds, x2 Original BlueBerry x BlueDream & 1 Tangerine Dream. The OBB x BD are real deal seeds ordered from somewhere & the rest are bag seeds from past grows.
Nothing on the heavy side here but I figured I'll start giving you guys some handicaps right off the Rip.

Still gotta dig up one more mirror.
The side monos can either angle or drop down for future sidelighting .The other 2 Cobs are disconnected as Amare provides individual Drivers for each cob.

Will just be using the monos fir the first half, then just the cob as a flower initiator, then I'll kick it onto the full 190w & I fully intend on 1/gpw.
A heads up, the side monos will be dropping down for sidelighting after theres an actual plant to light up.

No sir, I am not cheating. Barely. They were all germinated prior & buried deep...
There was one that cracked & actually shot a nice little tail that broke ground earlier then the rest but could actually be the slowest grower. I have been informing of these conditions each post.
My strains are only 8 wkrs whilest others may go up to 14 so believe me, I wont be holding anyone up . Just grateful they broke ground at all. Was getting worried & had to go digging to help them on their journey.
Dont worry Hoss. Its To early be frightened. Still got 4-5 months left. Cant wait to start the Everyday feeding fir @ least 90 days. :-?

I thought whatever light is on at the start had to be the same all the way through.
So I guess I could have had 2 QBs on one heat sink and had the 4k on during veg then fire up the 3k during flower.
Good to know for next time.

You do have to have the same light fixture from start to finish. I have a whole room of Amares that do the same thing. Its called versatility. SMH!
It's nice to know you're vegging though. Good job ! :clap:. I'll have to remember that for next time.
Everything just needs to be tied to one main fixture if you're a DIY type guy or if you have a factory light that offers those things already like I do. I actually removed les's (light emitting sources) from my led.
This is going exactly as I presumed. As soon as peeps see I'm not messing around, Instilling fear with AmareTech., that's when acussations would start flying off the shelf. Anything to get me out. Lol! You girls are so funny. Like knee slapping funny. :hug:

Not sure how it is different to have two qb's on one heatsink but I guess I'll watch and learn.
Already learned some great stuff in this comp.
FYI I call it veg under 12/12 until the plant shows sex then I call it flower.
Doesn't matter to me either way.
I compete against myself and would not benefit from cheating.
I look forward to the comp starting March 15th when any light schedule can be used with any light.
Hope you join in and we will see who does best.
My babies today.

And don't kill the messenger.
I only said what was going to be said at some point.

You can have 2 QB's on 1 heatsink as long as that is what you disclose from the beginning.
Not having any true "veg" lighting cycle sure does add an element of Luck to these comps doesn't it? No time to grow out problems :hump:

One thing of interest is your shitty leaf posture being in soil. What do you suppose is the pissing the plants off at such an early age? The LED light?

Who told you you couldn't run 2 QB'S on one sink? Sure you can. Freak, add 2 more for sidelighting as long as they're all connected together by wires you're good. Now, others that have say strips on the sides that may or may not be directly tied to the main overhead, now that's questionable maneuvering as the enclosure is not the light.
When I was a kid my car was the speaker box. When you're in a cab, essentially it becomes your light. Which is fine as long as all lights within are tied to the main.
Your girls are fattening up nicely. What's this other contest? Came in 3rd in the KittyLitterComp. Last yr.

You asked me not to clutter the thread.
I gave full details about my soil problems in earlier posts.
My plants started out slow with bad color and I showed regular progress of them recovering.
PSUAGRO was a great help earlier when he suggested I check the E/C of the soil in a slurry test.
That was hugely helpful because I did a lot of slurry tests on several different soils and learned a tremendous amount.
I'm not going to go into detail.
I will tell you my plants are getting stronger and healthier everyday so I'm not concerned.
Dis the player not the plant or the soil.
Hope you join the other comp also.
Let's play a game without limitations.
