calling all engineer/tinkerer types
hello im wondering if theres anyone out there who has made their own impingement
or wide full cone nozzles before. and were able to get high root hair.
i have decided this is something i will need to do as there are no quality nozzles
at a reasonable price. that i have been made aware of. biocontrol nozzles are pitiful ive tried 8 or them and
the pattern each nozzle produces is extremely unique. some of them shoot a 2 foot stream in a random direction.
i think the problem with these could be solved by replacing the shitty molded pin apparatus with a stainless steel
hook. but since there all about margins and dont care if there product is shitty or not, looks like im going to
be making my own.
i have access to a table saw, wood lathe, drill press, planner, arc welder and tons of other small tools.
ive already purchased 0.016" drill bits. and a 3/4 inch rod made of acetal plastic.
aeroponic equiptment that i own are a 20gallon 150psi tank, a 4.5 gallon 150psi thermal expansion tank. a rothenberger rp50 hydrostatic test pump.
an rodi system, 2 watts p60 pressure regulators, about 10 solenoids. and more john guest than anyone visiting this thread and that is a challenge
