I've been listening and watching for a long time.
I've watched the Democratic Party miss obvious opportunities to make real progress and I've watched the country get more and more frustrated with the conservative turn the country is taking and I've watched the Democrats do everything they can to discredit their own left/Progressive flank because they're terrified they'd have to live up to their rhetoric.
You push your politics and I'll push mine. The difference is that the last 40 years has shown yours to be a losing fight and I am at least trying something different.
I understand your fear of the unknown.
There is a problem with your argument. I haven't yet heard you voice a good argument that reconciles the fact that right wing voters consistently put people in office who oppose everything your faction wants to accomplish yet you claim the country is thirsting for this change.
Regarding your statement regarding "fear of the unknown". I've done a lot of whitewater boating in high water and we have a saying. There are old boaters and there are bold boaters. There aren't any old and bold boaters. I'm not timid. I trust my judgement and I don't take foolish risks.
You've recently accused me of being unfair to some so-called new posters. How did my judgement fare in those cases?
