The Irish Growers Thread!

No matty man i dont think any irish are growing in thier attic i kno there's few threads floating around this site about growing in the attic!
 
Thanks Danrasta.. I've read a few and most are very helpful although American. What i wanted was an Irish persepective of a roof / attic grow. What i wanted to find out was temp control in summer/winter etc.

Yea matty just started again i've got a lemon skunk that im gonna use as a mother and waiting for some lowryder#2 to seeds! Id say your gonna have to add some venting i was growing in a closet with a 400 watt and on a sunny day you could really noticed the difference in there and this summer looks like its gonna be a good one!
 
Sounds good mate... I have a venting fan at the top of my grow room, venting straight out the side of the house and a small fan sucking air in at the bottom, and of course a fan inside do'n its thing so hopfully should be ok. It's my second grow but it's now summer.. I grew the lowryder2 last time. Got the seeds from Nivana, it's not bad mate.
 
Yea this is my second time round with lowryder last time i grew them on 12-12(had other plants in flower) in small pots and got an oz off two plants, and both plants could have went a couple weeks more so i pleased enough with them so this time i'll let them get to their full potential and hopefuly get an o or more from each!
 
so its gone a da and a half of being under a light, still no sprout. i have the lights on 24/0 and have watered very minimally twice. when should it sprout?
 
Well ben you dont need to be watering at all yet just gently water when you first put the seed in it shoudnt need water till its up a bit, i put two lemon skunk in soil and they're up within a day! I also cover the top with cling film to create a miny humidity dome it seems to work great!
 
woooohhoooo!! sprouted today:P
so shes sprouted. not all good though.. I THINK its after stretching like a bitch or is it supposed to be 1 inch tall or more allready:S??
 
Yea ben that light will work perfect and yea it will probaly be about 2" be the leaves start to grow out just keep your light as close as possible!
 
i left mine for three cos it wasnt growing too quickly. i think you should add an extra light tho, when i first started growing i had one cfl on a plant, didnt grow very well at all!
