How did you get the code, I was looking for one myself, read on here somewhere to put in RIU but didnt work.

thats the code i always use jingle and i just tried it there with a fake buy and it worked aswell are u typeing it in capital letters

Lotus and Lu cheers man... Just wondering how the hell would I hook up a small fan to my grow box???

Once i got the pc fan, i cut the pc mounting wiring thing off until i got two wires. Then i got a 9v charger from a torch/old phone, cut the thing for plugging it into the phone off, stripped the wires and using terminal strips just joined the two wires together. Simple as!!!! If you want pics just shout!!!

lu, this is the problem:any clues as to what the little green leaves are in the 1st pic, and the shoots in the 2nd pic??

its the water , it is ringing wet, even in the new pics, the soil is so sodden it is stopping the uptake of certain nutrients. repotting will help but if you repott now lotus you will have to give the plants about 2 weeks to see any real improvement, it can take that long for the plant to adjust to new surroundings. i would love to take that plant from you get it to a decent size and give it back, 1 way to know if your soil has moisture in it is to take a ilttle bit and pinch it hard between your fingers, if theres any wet they dont need watering.
you need to do three things lotus.
1 pick up the pott and give it a gentle squeeze soes to brake up the soil a bit to let air in.
2. back the light off a bit, the plant needs time to get a bit better now cos its stressed.
3. dont touch with water or nutes, you were told by tym that it was a pottasium defiency but what was the cause of defiency? overwatering.
you gave it nutes now but i hope not too much, if you do the above and in a weeks time give a really small water if it needs it.

ok lu, gave it a squeeze, apart fom breaking up the soil i must a got half a cup of water out of it, the lights are 2-3 inches away and i got the fan on

if i do repot when it dries out should that help more than if i repot monday? is john innes good soil to use?

what a great idea for a thread. im an irish citizen growing in california. 3 grows.
1. closet: 1m x 1.5m
9 plants: atf, (2)bubba kush, (2)sour deisel, (2)god's gift, maeberry, lemon kush
light: 200w daylight cfl, 150w hps, 400w hps/mh switchable, (4)55w cfl filler lights
2. attic: 2m x 3m
36 plants: black domina
light: (4) 600w hps/mh switchable
3. greenhouse: 10m x 20m
~99...
: 20 plants per strain, 22 strain library
light: all natural
occasional filler lighting used when necessary depending on plant size and girth and time in season

Hey lu, i did some research and when the plant is half way dry, i think i will repot into better soil, with sand/more stones at the bottom of the pot and some perlite. what do you think?

kmog i think if any of us tried anything like that over here we would have 3 people at the door, the esb, the fire brigade and then the garda. looks like a great grow though, nice one.
lotus the reason you need to make sure the pot has a bit of damp in it is so it does not all fall apart when you are doing the transfer, i transfered my two plants last night that are in flower and they were already in very big pots but got root bound. i was hypothetically saying i would like to take the plant off you, its to risky letting anyone see who you are when growing, but 10/10 for trying fela!.
antone growing skunk 11 they need very big pots, i transfered a white berry and the skunk last night and for some reason the skun k had twice as much roots, it was unreal the soil was just packed in a big lump of roots!
john innes is ok for seedlings but if if you want to go for some decent soil head to one of your local grow shops lotus, what area are you in(not too specific) because there must be a grow shop near you where you can get some biobizz soil or the such.
dont bother with rocks in the bottom just use some perlite and that will help with drainage for you, rocks just take up valuable room which your roots can use, let me know if theres anything else you need. you should not be transfering the plant for a good few days yet cos i would get it a bit dried out yet.

i'm in mayo lu, as far as i know there are no grow shops homebase, horkans and thats about it!!

oh yeah i,ve just put a barneys farm lsd into a small pot to start germing, presoaked for a day and a half first. Insurance policy incase this plant doesnt work out!!! If it does all well and good i'll have two plants, and i getting the blue spectrum light soon!!!
