hi guys
just a quick shot of the new plants im growing at the minute, white berry , skunk and the rest of magus.

the three bigger plants were put down on the 9/1/11 and the row of five that are under the 18w light were put down about a week ago, lotus the three bigger plants are still not ready for nutes, it will be another week before they even get a smell of it. the smaller plants have been watered with a spray bottle and i injected a bit of water into the bottom of the pots. 10ml per watering.
im in dublin lotus, its a shame the only way you can get stuff is mail order.

forgot to mention the other three are under the ufo led. dont know why but every magus genetic plant the first set of leaves go wavy and then they die after about 4 weeks, i still have the five bigger plants in flower ill put picks up of them later.

(24000w)40 600s is a few thousand a month in electricity...:/? ive run up to 15 but was still running a couple grand a month. its just unreasonable unless you have like 300sq/ft or more ie: a room 30'x12' which is massive also 600w bulbs have a higher light per watt output than other wattage lamps so in quantities like this you should potentially be able to space them out a little more and use less power output for your grow. also heating and ventilation become real issues with lights like that.

yes he means one 600w light, its in his other threads. lotus its just radiator reflector sold in rolls in woodies, i used that instead of mylar because its supposed to pump heat back which helps cos temps are shit with the ufo. if i were you i would use the money to get a ph and moisture tester, 10.95 in b and q.

lotus just leave the dying leaves, they will fall off themselves when they are spent.

High all anybody flowering with cfls get a hps instead alot more mileage with ur end product,now i have a small vegbox i made myself
have a 250mh in there and 1200w hps in dr120 with door opend,will be taking tent down after these are finished ,use whole room with 4 x 600
keeping it green,,SOShiva

Plants are looking amazing now, starting to get some colas forming and frosty as fuck, will throw up some pics when I check them later.

Well Jay, just got off the phone to the missus and the DVD case arrived. Gonna germ the big buddah blue cheese and the barneys lsd tonight. Ive always had good results using wet tissue in a zip lock bag but this time instead of putting them germinated seed in to a platic cup i think i am gonna pop it straight in to my 10 ltr pot, Ill be using bio bizz all mix. I was only using half the size of my tent because i was doing autos so i extended it last night and now have about a 5ft x 3ft by 3ft or there abouts. does any one know of any reason why i shoulnt go straight in to the 10ltr pots. One or 2 of my friends have been doing this and are gettign much better results than mine. I think i might be shocking them while transfereing them or something. Also should i leave them in my tent under the 400hps as soon as they go in to soil. the light will be a couple of foot away.......All info much appreaciated as this is my first photo period grow.

I only start in smaller pots if Iv no big pots free, you just gotta be careful with the watering initially, I like to put a little water on the soil around the stem, but most of water around the edges of the pot when they're young, my logic tells me it makes the roots search for water and they cant drown but still have access to water if they want it and are gonna but in the effort, get me? anyone know how long my cannabutter will last after i make it??on the second batch of it now.I have it in a lunchbox in the fridge now for the last few weeks an think it s gettin a bit smelly now!?..

I thought it last as long as the butter its made from? I could be wrong, but thought I read that.

On other news, Im running 600w in the tent now, its a WAY bluer/whiter light even tho its red spectrum too, hopefully it'll help the plants along!

jingle if putting straight into big pots just be careful, don`t over water. as u know the seedlings dont need that much water. personally i think the 400w would be overkill but if you dont have anything else available then use it but keep an eye on your temps. myself i would just put them inder a coup,e of cfls if you have them and save a few quid on leccy aswell, also at night there will not be that much of a difference in temperature drop if you are using cfls. but if you got the night temps sorted then you will be fine with the mh at about 2 feet and move it closer when they take hold.
shiva the plants are looking sweet, especially the first pic. i have just switched to using the square pots have you ever seen any disadvantage to using them. the grow im doing does not seem to mind them all the same.
harrekin ill check on your update now, id say the plants will love the 600w!

Just make sure your soil mix isn't too cold (brought in from outside) as the seeds wont germinate and dont blast them too much with your HPS... If youve no CFl what so ever then make sure you have that HPS at least 4 foot away for the first week...

Howard Marks and Rhys Ifans interviewed by uberwanker himself, Ryan Tubridy. Rhys Ifans takes the almighty piss out of him towards the end, but Rhys Ifans generally doesnt come out of it lookin too good either.

What do you think, is Rhys Ifans out of his banjo on the skunkers or is he just like that ? Howard Marks is always stoned, thats a given, and he comes out of it lookin sharp and cool.

I was planning on about 3ft but will do the 4 just to be safe. Ye i know what u mean about the soil. i put the seeds in paper towelstonight and then wednesday or thursday i am going to do up my pots (will 10ltr be ok to finish)and leave in the grow tent for a day or 2 to let the soils aclimatise.
