Yeah mate it must be attached to a pc or laptop to fire up the lights and take pics, so either cut a leaf and bring it to the pc or bring the laptop to the plants and have a look, pity it dident have like a offline battery option but its a real good scope so i am happy.
Iamaaror i have a coco question for you,
Afteralot more research i found a guy with the same plant problems as me using blackstar led and he done a test grow with different plants and showed that plants have faster growth under led and those plants that dont get a high does of iron simply die as the plant uses alot of iron, cal-mag can work a little but they have lots other nutes that you dont need and can be toxic when you dont need calcium so this guy uses this liquid iron on soil and his plants grow perfect under the led
he uses this but i cant find it in ireland

i know this will be ok with the soil plant i have but do you think this would be ok to add to coco? if not is there any other iron for coco that just has high levels of iron?
Hey guys. Irish wannabe grower here. Me and my roommates are looking to set up a tent in our spare room.4 600 watts with 2 plants under each and top/scrog the shit outta them. My only problem is that when we harvest we will have a massive amount of weed for the week or so its drying in the house till we find somewhere we can store it. Now if we get raided during this time it would be most likely be 10 years in jail 
Our other option is to have smaller tents with a 600 watt in each and 2 plants in each tent. 4 tents total. 2 months veg in each tent and 2 months flower. How we were thinking of working it is lets say 1st of jan start of first tent. 1st of february start next tent. 1st of march start next tent and flip first tent to 12/12. 1st of april start the last tenth and switch the second tent to 12/12. Repeat and so on. So we will have at any time 4 plants at different stages of vegetation and 4 at different stages of flowering. The four tent method is our preferred method. However would this be seen as perpetual or sophisticated. Also the fella in the grow shop said that gardai value each plant at 400 euros. Is this regardless of size. Surely theyll know by the size of the 2 month vegged plants that they would yield more than an ounce. Were hoping to get 10 ounces a month. We prob smoke about 6 a month between us at moment so we will use the four to try baking/making hash/ oil etc. All of us know how important it is to tell no one and secrecy is our number 1 priority. So what you think? We all have no previous aswell but only one of us would take the rap if we were caught based on some sort of lottery system. ie me this month, "john" next month etc. So summed up, will guards take the size of the plant into consideration when given final yield and will the 4 tents be seen as "sophisticated" or perpetual

My first thought would be 4 tents is a bit much with only
2 plants in each. Why not do 4 in each and two tents.
You're gonna have serious heat issues with 4 lights.
Not to mention leccy. Each tent will need own fans
and filters.
As for your "lottery" so if the cops came 3 would claim
no knowledge whilst the winner tales the rap. I reckon
(presuming this is a rented house) the one that should
be worried is the one with his name on the lease. You
go before a judge and they will show you to be complicit
in this grow. You are the one renting the house

itll be fine, I use some organic stuff from time to time and I think the organics almost act as a buffer to salt buildup, when I flushed the plant the salt buildup was crazy with nothing to help fight it in the coco.

I will basically echo what the others have said 4 600watt lights on 2 plants is ott, you can easily get 4 to 8 plants depending on size.
4 600watts would cost you about 250 euro's per month on electricity alone.
depending on your strain it could take a min 3 months, thats 750 euro's for one grow, and more then likely it will take more than 3 months probably 4,
I would go for either a lower wattage 400, more plants or/and get a switchable ballast,

To be honest Chocoabloc, 4 600w is just stupid when starting out, if you're just growing for yourselves its too much, if you're selling I'd get a middleman. Alot to consider, can you even vent all that heat out of the room? Are you gonna invite people over to buy from the same property you grow in? Where are you gonna dry that much herb? It will stink up the entire street...And can you not learn to grow first? Can you deal with never being able to have pride and tell people it's yours?
My best piece of advice, don't get greedy, the 'joy is full of people who had a similar idea, I could easily manage 8-12 600's with 9 plants under each...I like not being in prison tho.

Story lads, the DWC is a no go, since I can't vent the heat out of my room the water temp is not going below 25c, but fuck it. I always loved the coco anyway, going with 2 Big Bhudda blue cheese, with a nice little screen to train them under. Under a 125w CFL for a few weeks until they get bigger then onto the 400w MH and HPS. I might end up getting the Blumat drippers, I don't like handwatering a whole lot and it would free me up for a few days at a time while the plants fed off the rez. Only got 1 pic of the setup, waiting for the little ones to show their heads now.

Looks great ror, haha it what mine looks like in my head....lol..where did you get the big tray for drainage...I have to get something like that, another thing, how are you ging to collect the runoff from the tray becasue thats the first thing i notices about the airpots they dont take back up the little bit of runoff. Also is that a clip on fan or did you hang an oscalating fan....I have 2 fans running but would love to hand one up high like yours but cant think of a way to do it....

I have a syringe that I can suck up the runoff with, I raised the bottoms of the airpots up a notch so that they won't suck up any runoff. It's an 8 inch clip on fan, think i got it for 20 quid from some english company but it's a good way of cooling down the air between the light and your canopy, allowing you to get your light pretty close.
I'm not sure if theres a conversion that I can make from soil to coco, but I pulled 2.6 zips from the last soil plant, and 5.9 zips from my coco one (and the genetics were fucked on it). The veg time is a lot quicker once she builds a root system, but takes just as long to flower as soil.

theres a big difference in 2.6 zips and 5.9! i hope this iron will help now and be able to handle the led lights, if i was able to get 5 zips it would keep me going 4 months which would be plenty of time to grow a bbbc, after my next grow i am gonna buy some pick and mix seeds and get some really good seeds if the coco and led work out
Hey everyone. Thanks for all the responses. I do have a previous grow in a dr 60 but it was no where near enough. Got just four ounces from it. I dont plan on selling straight away but once I will once we have lots to spare. We do have one friend since were young that could take everything we give him and I would trust him 100% not to say anything. I understand people think that 4 600 watts is alot but the way i see it is if im growing eight plants under 1 600 watt and the guards see it as the same as 8 monsters under 4 600 watts then why not go for the larger setup and cover your costs if we need to by selling extra( to the one person only). Someone else said why not have the 4 in one tent and 4 in another or all 8 in one tent. My problem with this is the amount of harvested matter we would have at harvest time. I have spent months and months researching this and im confident that i can make 2 under a 600 work as I have read countless grows and scrog.Lollipopping/Lbhs 4 way etc. My understanding is that under 10 is personal use. Im really just looking to find out does the size of the plant matter or the fact that theres 4 seperate tents? I could just say that i bought 1 but it wasnt enough with just two plants so i upgraded and so on.
How bad does drying cannabis smell? I thought drying it in the tent with the carbon filter on and a fan pointing away from the drying product would dry it correctly and with no smell? Obviously lights off.

They'll weight the whole plant, soil and all when it's wet and fuck you for 10+ years.
4 600w is alot of herb, you'd need to clear 4-6 ounces a week, most small timers wouldn't be able to handle that much product.
And do you honestly expect to be able to pull 6-8 ounces per plant to make the 4 600w worthwhile?
