I germinated my plants in coco to and moved on to my diy bubbler as soon as they started to look too poor. Then, when my renovation was finally over, I ordered some more hydroton and put them in my Wilma.
Now here's the thing. That was 9 days ago and already they grow like crazy. They have nearly doubled their height. Three are in hydroton, the fourth in coco and here's the second surprise. The one i coco is already shooting roots from the bottom of the pot, which leads me to believe coco is the better medium of the two.
They also drink a lot. I refilled their container 3 days ago and just earlier today the water level was so low the pump had problems. Had to do another refill.
