Just makes sense to not burn it when there are alternatives. That is the problem with the trolling I think that is most problematic. It causes everything to be looked at in such absolute mindset when it is not.

It would be, but have you ever heard an American take a joke about America? I've made some jokes about the unjust Vietnam War and the Americans can't take it. They view themselves as the "good guys" yet every war they started after WW2 was unjust. Mostly killing civilians in other countries.
