THE LOT ~ Music Festival Lifestyle

Is that rare for that to happen now a days ?
It really does, especially at those innaugural festivals that have heady line ups with small amounts of people in attendance. Draws the right kind of people... Phases of the moon 2014. the prankster bus was their.Their was 50 dolla 10 strips of owsley recipe. Once in a lifetime dose. My friends first time doing it, she thought aliens where trying to steal her memories she had to go lie down for a few. Also one kid ate my 2 hits with out asking so he ate 4 total, he ended up in the med tent crying for his mommy. He went home the next day.
Me, I had a great time so did most of my friends. Man it was so cold.

You're a living infomercial @DaSprout lol
Where have you guys been all my life this looks absolutely fantastic, I'm coming up on allylescaline and it made that video sooooo much more awesome. I'm pretty sure tho that if I went to something like that I would end up feeling really awkward and standing off to the side just watching and tripping balls and not interacting with anyone lol I'm so introverted :( and not many of my friends like this kind of stuff to the extent I do, but man... I need to go and break out of my shell man... How much does one of these things cost? I'm on such a super tight budget with trying to build a house but after my first crop comes up and harvested, man I'm gonna try so hard to not be so introverted and scared of people cause this looks exactly like something I'd end up having a blast at, but at the same time I'm nervous that I'd never work up the courage to actually do something about it and follow through
Iam the same way man, I don't have many firends, I usually stay away from social gatherings and stuff.. But festies are different, the hardest part for me is if I don't have anyone to camp with, then I kinda have to make myself get out of the tent and go have fun. That's why I like to find at least one person to go with. But once your there and having fun you won't find yourself "needing to fit in" or anything like that.

I went to my first festie alone and was pretty much having anxiety attacks most of the first day, my neighbors by my tent picked up on this and invited me to join their group for the remainder of the fest. That group of friends became my festie fam for the next 3 years!! I talk to them all at least once a week.

If there are a few of us on here going alone we should all group up and make some great memories together! I would love to have someone to travel down there with just to help settle the nerves. Iam right there with you man, anxiety kinda keeps me from jumping on tix without having a friend or two beside me.

That's what I think I would feel if I wasn't with at least one person I knew beforehand. I'm sure I could go and. I envisioned myself doing just what you described. Pitching a tent, taking some cid or something and just being in my tent with sombra and not really going out of the tent, possibly making excuses for myself on why I shouldn't go outside! (I have to take him with me, seeing those dogs there in the pics, if its pet friendly, I absolutely have to bring sombra with me, as he picks up on my vibes so hard, its like we talk to each other through human/animal language

The pic with the dogs is at the red rocks lot. That happens 3-5 hours before any headdy show on any given night up there. That place is amazing!!

You should def look into seeing if any festies are pet friendly. That would be awesome if you could bring him along, just don't plan on taking him deep into the crowds by the stages. He might not like that.

His owner might not like large unknown crowds, but sombra is such a people person, he's 80 pounds of love you to death, and he's such a daddy's boy, but to him everyone is his best friend/playmate! I'll check on that, would be awesome if I can bring him along, I'm sure he'll meet some good friends too, you guys are throwing such a positive vibe and energy out :D

I love dogs. My family has lived with dogs and varied types of animals since prior to my birth. Too bad that I can't currently do that. I can't really live until I leave NY.

Didja hear Wakarusa isn't hosting a party this year?
I have faith the festivities will return to Mulberry Mountain in 2017 or 2018. :)
I don't know if you have heard about it or attended but I was really bummed to find out that gathering of the vibes wasn't going down this year either.

What about burning man? Does that count? One of my buddies wants to try to go to it this year
Burning man is more of an art festival than a music festival but it's still one I hope to make it to before I die. But it's one you better come prepared for because you are spending a week out in the middle of the desert lol
