everything is so dank...i must admit i pulled a little golfball near the bottom of keeper dtrain....im gonna dry her out and have a taste. ;-) 6 more days...water the night before chop...let em hang for 5-6 days while im outta town....jar them as soon as i get home

update on the Cabinet Scrog babies....

.....looks like i may have 4 of 4 gals....they have been under 12/12 going on 4 days, and i think i see micro girl parts.....this will make it tough to choose who to run...so i will grow them out a bit and choose based on structure and stem rub....

i am leaving wednesday after work and wont be back till monday morning. they will be hanging a minimum of five days while i am out of town. i wish i could have planned it differently but the wife and i are getting out of town for a bit....since i will be gone for five days, i thought watering them the night before chop would slow down the drying process...

i chop colas, mancure and hang the colas.i am hoping this will allow the plant to retain a little moisture and slow down the process of drying..

how are those tahoe whites!?

ahhhh gotcha......do so....here is a little trick....when trimming, save a nice big bunch of green healthy fan leaves, put them in a zip-lock in the fridge.......when you return from your trip, if your buds are too dry, use the green leaves to help humidify the dry buds buy putting the buds and the leaves in the same large bag....seal it up for a half a day, and boom....perfectly re-hydrated nugs, with the most natural material.....

....put that little knowledge nugget in your pipe and smoke it!

I usually just pull a water leaf from another plant but same strain. I use a fresh water leaf if I need to do that.. I found keeping it in the fridge for that purpose tends to adds extra moisture unless its vacuum sealed. It might depend on the fridge too.

I keep fresh leaf with buds no longer than 5 hours. Any longer and they get airy and wet. Thats for mine. Density and bud size is a factor for that too. But I have had some super dry and very dense buds ended up airy from the leaf staying in to long.

Really, really nice

This last run, I adopted a few of these techniques, and in doing so realized you really need to follow the plan. I didn't have the balls somehow, maybe because of the bonsai trimming.

I lack intuition and awareness of this whole thing that most others here clearly have. Hard to describe, but I measure every aspect of my grow so I can be in the "zone." Most folks here just "know" what to do it seems. I have many thermometers, a hygrometer for humidity (both temp and humidity levels are automated), a soil Tensiometer to know the exact soil water level and a kick ass light meter to measure Footcandles. For two plants under my stairs. Go figure. Most here would understandably chuckle at all of this, as they are not needed by others.

Anyway, I plan to man up and go full Mainline next run, and am starting by re-reading this epic thread.

Rrog - It really was scary removing so much growth... I felt bad for my plants having to go through all that hacking. Just when I thought they were stunted and stagnated, 8 happy new shoots sprung up and just took off!

Give it a 100% try next round an I think you'll be stoked. :)
