the problem is i had to add green, and take out blue to get it to resemble green at all......so much nicer to get a true green right out of the box....
also, you can see the reflection of the strobe flashes on the leaf surface, shows as a white/blue reflection that washes the detail out.....the lower pic has much more detail.....

....the biggest issue is when you get your work published, cause they ask for the original files, and if they don't look right out of the camera your fucked cause that is what you have to offer, and if they are not right...they are not right....plus you never know what their art department will do as far as adjusting the pic...they could leave it un-adjusted, or just plain fuck it up...... both undesirable.... you want your pics to look as natural as possible in raw form, in any size......there are "darkroom" photographers who like to do a lot of post pic editing, and there are those who choose to do the work in the field...the later are the real talented photographers in my mind, and i am striving to be one of them and get everything perfect at the moment of truth...

Is this a tincture to get you high?

does it have similar pain relieving than a 60 days ``flip the jar daily`` tincture? basically I am wondering if this 20min tincture would work for my patient that doesnt like to get high...

I wouldnt mind seeing a picture of your double boiler as well if you dont mind.

EDIT: ok I just realized that everclear is alcohol, do you think the same thing can be done with glycerin?

this would not be for someone who does not want to get high!

double boiler is just a sauce pan with water, and a glass canning jar........i have no experience with glycerin....i like alcohol for tinks....

Nugs .... I do not know where to begin with the thanks :-) I have finally completed reading this entire thread for the second time ( and will more than likely read it over and over, always gaining more knowledge ). Each time, I gain more and more, whether it be about ( Maine-Lining .... <---- Resides in Maine ), from seed, clones, hash, tincture, and now photography etc. !! :-)

There are a great group of peeps on here, from newbies to advanced growers here at RIU, but you my friend .... go above and beyond with the sharing of your knowledge in all of the facets of growing. I can attest, that for my family and myself .... You have helped me out more than one can imagine ...especially since I am a MMJ patient. There are times that I love to grow, more than smoke or vape ... and with this thread of yours ... It has more than tripled my enthusiasm with my Garden !!

Again, Nugs .... Thank You so very much for sharing this info with us ... You are a very special person in my heart and soul :-)

ok thanks, I thought you were also using glycerin but now that I think about it , it`s TCurtis that uses it not you!

I will look into everclear tinctures for myself, but I can`t imagine it would taste nearly as good as the glycerin stuff !! soo sweeeet

I have seen people making glycerin tincture that gets you high with a crock-pot and it only takes a few hours! I will look into this as well and maybe try doing it in a double boiler because I do not have a crock-pot.


Speaking of tinctures ( sorry mainlining thread...), I am just going to put the word out that I am going to experiment with glycerin tinctures a lot this winter and will update my progress in the tincture 101 thread, I invite everyone to share their own experiences with it because there is not a lot of infos about them on the internet as of now and I see huge potential in them. I have a few people with fibromyalgia and suchs trying them right now and it is very promising... (I havent had the chance to make tinctures with the full 60 days yet...)

I will be experimenting with quick tinctures that get you high (with heat) and longer tinctures (60 days, cold pressed?) for pain relief.
