The Mother Plant

Ok I have my plans nearly perfected for the SOG technique. But I do not have enough room in my grow area to have a mother plant. So I need to know what kind of lighting does just one mature plant need to survive. Btw I'm using fluorescents and I have a spare fluorescent fixture, but it is only a 15w the bulb I have in it is a Reptisun 10.0 would that do the job?

I am no expert but I think an individual florescent would be perfect for a single mom. I am not sure about the watts but I feel that 15 should be enough to sustain here.

My last fluorescent that I used for my mother was a New Wave T5 System - 2', 4 Bulb. I bought it from bghydro I am going to try to post the link but I don't know if it will take you directly there New Wave T5 System - 2', 4 Bulb | BGH
It was an awesome product and I highly recommend it

get a 5 dollar shop light fixture from walmart, 2 40w t8's 5500k and youll be good to go! works for me.

The t5 lights are the bomb. the plants will grow healthy root structure with t5 lighting compaired to the t8 bulbs, but its all about your budget. The t5 bulbs run around $ 12.00 us dollars each.
