Thanks for taking the time to look HL420!! They're still progeressing. The tops don't look any better, because all the new growth has been at the bottom of the plant and is working it''s way up. I still have the clones in veg, but got tired of having the other 2 in my veg area. They went to flower yesterday, you can see them in the upper left corner.

i doubt it but it may be the light.
i made a growbox awhile back that had lightes all over the walls and ceiling and my leaves didnt know where was "up" so they were circling and bending and shit.
i dont think this is your issue.....will we ever find out?
im pretty sure it's the product of bad seed breeding.(or good if it is nice nug)
& if it is nice weed thats a good way for outdoor growers to detur people, they'll go for the nabour's "healthier" garden..lol
Keep up the good work!PEACE btw thanks for putting a link to the pcc in yur sig. yours is more reliable than "sicc"'s his always bring me back where i started..lol

I thought about the lights being a problem, but in a different way.

Although that sounds interesting. Did they eventually find which way was up?

There are 2 problems I have with the veg lights...
1. they are old, about 2 years (of heavy use) for the grow bulbs.
2. 3 of 8 bulbs aren't grow lights. They're standard 4100k shop bulbs. I needed some thing.

lol it might be good for growers who need to worry about thieves! Who cares if it looks bad along the way as long as it's good smoke in the end!!

It's kinda hard to tell the difference in the links in his sig. Your welcome.

the top ones were dependant on the top and the rest were all over the place,it had alot of sidegrowth coming form everywhere....temps were running too high and the plant was being weird so i disassembled the box(it was 9months or so ago) pick up some better bulbs for veg, it'll make a huge difference, your vegsetup looks great im sure with new bulbs you'll have alot better/faster growth(not that it's lacking!!)
aslong as it's good smoke! that's the point of it all:)

I was at Home Depot about a week ago and they had a box of 10 40w 6500K plant lights for $25 I think. A lot better than the other prices I've seen, up to $10 a bulb!! Maybe next paycheck...

Awesome read! I have an MN growing sorta the same way ur's did. Small with nute burn. I think I had accidentally used water already pre mixed with nutes which caused this to happen. Now that I assured it 100% distilled water and some time it seems to be alot greener and since I have it next to a beautiful mother on the 12/12 cycle. It has already and amazingly taken the spot where I FIM'd and has become flush with pistils. I should take a pic to show you, but I will possibly tomorrow.

It'd be nice to see!

I don't think I burned mine though. To me it seems that the strain doesn't like the conditions. Thanks for taking the time to read it!!!

Wow, that is a cool looking plant. I could look at her all day long.

Everyone who is speculating about lights, soil, etc. is waaay off. It's been funky from the start, and I assume you used the same lights & soil as the other plants?

It is possible there was a tiny bit or molecule of something odd in the water, or the medium you germinated the seeds in. My guess is its a mutation or other genetic issue from the mother. Perhaps the mother was stressed in some way, or sprayed with something, or the seed was hit with cosmic rays.

Whatever it was, don't worry about trying to fix her. It is what it is, and will always be a strange beast. It will be interesting to see what kind of buzz you get from it.

I had a mystery plant from a bagseed of some kick-ass shit. I wound up with too many plants, so I planted it out in the woods, but something ate it. Wish I'd kept it indoors.

Thanks for looking and your thoughts!!

It was in the same soil and got the same nutes and water as the others. The only thing that made any difference was putting it in the coco, and that is only a small change that took a long time to show up.

I like the cosmic ray idea!! The aliens zapped it with a ray to make it the best smoke ever!! It's just hidden behind an ugly plant!

I agree tom. That goes along with the conditions, I was thinking.

It's still this strain though. The other 2 love it!!

I bet its the pH not being in the correct range

your ph is too high go to walmart and get a test kit its less then $10 there in the fish area i bet your over 8 if you start giving them 6.5 they will look 100 times better in a week.ph down is like $20 and will last you forever.i got a ph meter on ebay for $14 just to make the mixing every other day go a little faster. nutes change the ph to.but 1 tsp of ph down brings 4 gallons of my water from 8 to 6.4

20 days flower...

They're developing a little different, only in color really. One is dark and getting hints of purple and the other is light green...

They were both getting way to bushy for their own good, so I trimmed off a good part of the lower growth. They seem happy from it...

Purplish plant...

Light green...

I totally agree with pH. Your problem is obviously strain specific
Thanks you both for your input!!

For now it's going to be what it is... I've looked for everything I need to monitor and maintain my PH levels. Just haven't been able to get it all together yet...

Besides I kind of like the way look!;-)

All you need is a pH meter, some calibration solution, and pH up and down
You could get all that for less than $50 if you looked hard enough
