Blurple !
Right at lights out today, I had to manually unplug them and add them to the timer, so I grabbed a quick shot.
That is LED only... sure does have good coverage !

hey, I read nug buckets thread on mainlining and your right, I picked up my clones today and they do not have the same structure as your plants grown from seed, I will still be able to mainline but it will take some extra effort to get the mainfold set up right

SO... I have adapted part of the "Gas Lantern Routine" in this flower.
The diminishing light schedule.
Reducing daylight 30 minutes every 2 weeks during flower till you reach 9/15, and today was the day to go to 10.5/13.5.
Once you get to 9/15, you run with that till ripe.
The true benefit from the GLR (besides substantial energy savings) is realized when the veg portion is followed as well.
Veg 12 on 5.5 off 1 on 5.5 off.
The 1 hr on in the middle of the dark prevents the plant from switching to flower, but they are just brimming with the flowering hormones and when you finally flip them.... it's on.
Then you start the diminishing schedule and the flowers go nuts.
The veg part is fooling mother nature, but the flower part is mimicking Her.

I have been looking into this for a while now and all of the above is the deal, in laymens terms... :bigjoint:
The veg cycle is also supposed to be MORE productive and cut veg time.
This would be great for mainlining and cut down on the veg time.
I have also been tossing around the idea (to cut veg time) of only mainlining to 4 tops each plant plus some choice side branches.......?

I'm trying to become a little more perpetual as well.
After the first grow, I really enjoyed the time off, between grows... for a while.
It's a hobby to me dang it, I love doing it and hopefully the fruits of my labor will be like an old favorite candy of mine... "Good & Plenty" !
I need to start figuring the new timeline to pop 2 more seeds.
As soon as the current crop is dried and out of the fridge, I want the next 2 to already be around 3 - 4 nodes and get them in the GOOD light and GIT IT !
I need to get some inventory stacked up for a rainy day.

I STILL want to do a Jack Herer to the end, and maybe another GoldLeaF along side again... I have a feeling I'm gonna love everything about this strain (I have 4 more seeds).

I am growing a Jack Herer cross, called J1 (Skunk #1 and Jack Herer)

Hmm, this method seems amazing, but a lot of people are against it...

Aww you know what, fuck it, I'm trying this method. In the name of science of course, I'm really curious if it works.

So should I just switch my light cycle right now? Or do I have to wait until a certain time? I think my lights have been on for about 6h.

Remind me again how far into flower are you?

Brewing the tea !
Worm poo in a sock tied to an airstone
Aqua Shield
Bacteria
Fungi
Molasses
Lots of bubbles for 48 hours.
I haven't put any in the res since last change out Fri.
I hope I see that sudden surge in root and plant growth like before.
I actually think the tea has a pleasant aroma.

Yea,, I just HAVE to grow another Jack this next run.
The last one that croaked about 3/4 way thru flower still gave me smallish, wicked strong buds, but I wasn't able to flush her so a little harsh/black ash, but really did the trick.
The difference between my 1st run of Amnesia Haze was nothing compared to the current crop I am smoking now.
Can't wait to sample some well done fully flushed Jack Herer !
BTW, only got about a half a jar of my own left.... :-(

Well, I believe I have made it thru the stretch, and have a manageable canopy.
Today starts the 3rd week of flower.
I have done some mild supercropping along the back to turn the tops toward the main lamp.I really do see some interaction with the plants and the LEDs.
They are reaching right towards them in spots.
