The odd seed

Some of my outdoor plants end up having a seed or 2 in them, never more. Is this from stray pollen or the plant itself producing the seeds. I never noticed male sacs on any of them

Same here. No clue. Keep them and grow them out. I just harvested 25 ounces dried from a Chemdawg seed I found last year.

Apparently male cannabis can fertilize other plants from miles away so this could be the reason

I would think there would be more than one or two rogue seeds if they were getting pollinated....I’m thinking some type of mild hermie, self-preservation thing. From mild stress?

Depends on how far away it is. I had more seeds from my neighbour's male than the neighbour on the other side, and the guy just past him has even less. They're lucky the wind around here usually comes from the west.

Ok...well whatever it is, I hope it happens again! Lol. Grew a killer plant from that seed I found.

Ive heard light leaks indoors can cause seed production, I assumed it was bright moonlight during the full moon in september causes this

Funny, I found exactly 1 seed after harvest my purple punch. Will save till next year!

i have pure female clones push out 1 or 2 seeds sometimes more i think its got to do with them not having a mate and they do it to carry on genetics

If you had any males that flowered in other locations, you can carry pollen in on unwashed hands, clothes, etc.

Grew a sour D plant one year outdoors found 2 seeds in it when they sprouted they looked like a pure landrace sativa.... neither lived more than a month I always assumed they got sum old hemp pollen in them

I always find a few per plant too. I am almost positive my neighbors are not growing. Living in a prohibition state there's no hemp either.Its a mystery to me..

You will not get a seed without a male flower to give pollen. So if there is a seed do to hermie, you should also see a male flower nearby.

I've found a few seeds on my plants as well. I ate them. I assume that if I find a seed, and don't see a male flower, then it is from stray pollen and quite likely a hemp variety from nearby farms.

If you can rule out a distant pollen donater, then some female plants will put out a few bananas in an effort to preserve the species. This is a mechanism some plants utilize in a last ditch survival response.
Similar to a reversed female these bananas produce female pollen and the resulting seed/s should all be female with the possibility That they could show hermaphroditism If stressed in growing...roll the dice, but understand it could bite you in the arse if you breed for seeds down the road. You could end up with a generation of “metro- sexuals” in later crops!

Well I only found one at a time... so there wasn't a lot to make tasting notes on lol

They are exactly like hemp seeds you will find at a health food store. Same size, colour and taste.

They could be hemp-pollinated seeds as well depending how far you live from a hemp field.

I've always said this and nobody ever believes it!! I also had a Female plant I harvested this year that produced a few seeds. I do know of a hemp feild 20miles away(seems far), but I'm betting its a distant neighbor growing hermies or males lol. Will probably plant to see what happens next year
