Hey i have no pics but i do have one hell of a ghetto setup.I have one rom at a foot tall and a foot wide with like 3o leaves and like 15 branches but its growing only off of a 2 foot flo.Ha Ha.Since it needs more light and i dont have any i put some old wood paneling around it and used reflective tape used for ac ducts. My fan is a bathroom fart fan i found in my brother in laws ac van.And just for a lil extra light spec for now i have also a 60 watt aquarium bulb next to it.But it works.

She's lookin beautiful! She looks like she's diggin the LST too! I should have done that with mine this time round, but alas, it'll have to wait for the next grow.

As for the white stuff, it's hard to tell from the pic but it looks a little fuzzy. It could be some type of mold. I had a thin layer of green on top of my soil, I'd recommend carefully scooping the top 1/4" of soil out and replacing it with some fine grade sand. (Make sure you wash the sand first) But the sand dries out super fast and doesn't stay wet enough, long enough for anything to grow. I found it helped out with the green stuff and getting rid of those annoying little black f*ckerflies. Only thing that it makes trickier is watering. It's harder to tell how dry your soil gets without mixing the sand into the dirt, but a $5 moisture meter from Lowe's solved that problem for me.

these are looking good. like the plants concord and jumbo. and welcome jaken. haha. Im like itching to make a new set up and grow I just dont know where I could do it with someone snooping around.. idk. I did plant 2 babies outside and theyre actually looking pretty nice but wont be anything like concord pinwheel there.. haha

the pinwheel plant, LMAO, that thing is a trip. should have named her "vortex"

I've been having a rought time of it, mostly by just being a total cheapskate and paying the price. lol. So far, out of all my stumbling attempts, this is the only one that has managed to survive. It may not look it, but it's almost a month old now.

I've had problem after problem, most of them solved by info here on this very forum, for which I am immensely thankful. When I can afford not to be a total cheapskate about it, I'm hoping my endeavors will be more worthwhile. But all in all, this first 'one problem after another' attempt has taught me alot!

What did you plant it in, mulch lol, what type of lighting do you have on it?

Actually.... Kind of. lmao. When I first decided to give this a try, all I had was 'gardon top soil' I purloined from my mom's shed. haha. That's what this poor thing started in. I finally relented enough (still being a cheapskate, mind) to buy a bag of miracle-gro, which is what it's in now. I repotted it from a small pot into the bucket on the 28th, and it's actually shown a remarkable growth since then. If it doesn't turn out to be a hermie from all the stress, or just a male, it will be a miracle.

As for lighting, two 46w 6500k CFLs. I know I need more lighting, but I can't afford to splurge on it right now. Which... is why I'm not too upset that this grow isn't going well. lol. I went into it knowing my luck wasn't going to be great. But it's been a fantastic learning experience, for all that.

Here just wanted to throw my little babies up there to show everyone ghetto is still good. These little girls are 25 days old. Just need to represent real quick..

Dirt basement in Michigan. 5 feet tall filled to tthe t

Very nice, man! When I first read your text, before looking at the pics, I kinda expected to see the plant growing out of the dirt basement. hahaha. I don't know why. Just the connections one's mind makes, or something.

HAHA if you have any new pics of the growth would be nice if I were you I would wait about another week or soo and put it into flower you dont wanna have a big plant with the lights you have it's not gonna do ya much good. I would try to put at least 1 more cfl under it, and the bucket you put it in does it have drainage holes?

Yeah. I made sure of that. Drilled holes in the bottom of it, before I repotted into it. As for moving into flower, I still need to pick up some 2700k bulbs for it. Ahh, limited budgets, aren't they grand? lol

i finally read the whole thing and i have to say its great so much creativity
im just starting my first grow in cabinet all i got so far is 5 13w cfls for 2 plants that havent sprouted yet so there not in the cabinet yet
