I agree it was kind of a waste of space. My goal in the beginning however was to only grow one plant. But because the strain is unknown, i wasnt sure how it would grow or how much it would smell. I've grown before but never in a confined space under CFLs nor have i ever topped a plant before. So now that i've learned the growth patterns, upgraded my soil mix and containers it may be time to reconfigure the light setup and do two plants. Time will tell. Thanks for dropping by!

The swell is on! Still alot of white hairs but smelling dank up close. Looks like my assumption of ten weeks won't be far off.

Thanks CD! I'm itching to start the next round because i know it will be even better. My soil mix was really lacking this run.

Just enjoyed a sample taken at 5 weeks. Not much for flavor, tasted a little "green" but the smell when cut up was amazing, very dank. Burned to a very clean white ash and while it wasn't an instant hitter, i am now quite lifted. Its got a grip right behind the eyes keeping my head from floating away. Whoa...

Damn man fucking frosty! I haven't really seen nice frosty nugs grown under HID's but I DO see the weight. I got for quality over quantity ANY DAY!

Anxiously awaiting the end of the plants life, as I imagine you are too

Yea buddy, can hardly wait. These are definitely some frosty buds. Mixed up my next batch of soil today which should help to increase yield. May just chop at eight weeks so i can get the next run in before summer. We'll see.

Thanks man. I figured 5000k would be ok. You can visibly see it has red in the spectrum. Some manufacturers describe them as being full spectrum. But i like the idea of a mixed array of spectrums. RIU member hiitsbob has done full term grows using 5000k only and has dynamite plants. Seems to be working ok for me so far.

Good job. great grow. You can reveg that chica and re flower, or maybe try a sog approach.

I think i might just start another bean of this same strain near the end of the month. Less veg time, bigger flowering container, better soil mix and a consistent tea regimen should make the difference next round.

It was a bud from the lower part of one of the mains. It was real small, a nice bowl. I hung it for three or four days then put it in a small jar for a couple days. So no, it wasn't done proper but a good preview. Thanks for stopping in man.

I would be interested in trying that, but I think first time through I'd prefer going all the way through flowering without touching her at all.

I'll be be here to watch her croak. What strain are you growing again?

Its an unknown strain but from what the source told me all the beans were plucked from the same bud out of a bag of Sour Diesel. Apparently it was the only bud that had any in the whole bag.

I am quite a fan of sour D! Hopefully that's what you've got.

Well whatever it is its lookin choice. Too bad the yield won't be there.
