and you have still failed to show a single flaw in their methodology, much less flaws so gaping and horrible that they missed the mark by a full 20%.

you dumb fucking nazi.
I'm saying that their methodology might be sound, but saying that "unemployment is only 10%" is an oversimplification. The economy is still stagnant or declining in most sectors, serfs had jobs hoeing potato fields but they weren't what I'd call "employed".

so you've gone from "unemployment is actually 30%!!!!!" to "well it's only 10% but it's not super awesome like the anime cartoons i watch".

you should probably give up debating, you really suck at it.

stick to jerking off to anime instead, kid.

I've shown you that no one has any money, which is tacit to saying:

A.Gainful employment is no where near 90%.
or
B.The economy is so fucked up that even being gainfully employed isn't enough to save more than $1000.

So which one is it and how is it Bush's fault?
You are unclear on what gainful employment means. It just means that a person has a paying job. The job can be for 1 hour a week at minimum wage and still be called gainful employment.

What is the definition of gainful employment?
In broad language, gainful employment refers to an employment situation where the employee receives consistent work and payment from the employer. In psychology, gainful employment is a positive psychology concept that explores the benefits of work and employment

I'm sticking to that, the amount of work that produces savings is the only meaningful employment. Getting by and living paycheck-to-paycheck is a poor yardstick to measure the health of an economy. Subtracting Obama's miraculous recovery of bartenders and waitresses, you're sitting at about 40% of Americans that are putting money away to retire or pay their deductible, and not endlessly making minimum payments with tip money.

so you're sticking to the 30% blatant lie with absolutely no evidence to support it and absolutely no attempt to expose any flaw in the methodology.

in other words, facts are only what you think they are, regardless of all the evidence to the contrary.

there's a word for that: delusional

I'm sticking to the facts on the ground, over 60% of people don't have $1000 in savings. I'm saying there's more nuance to the story than just "x amount of people have McJobs".

On average, people are making less and working harder. The trend started with Reagan. The top 10% have been gathering more and more of the profits from increased productivity and the 90% have been losing ground. It's getting to a critical point in this country. Trump plans to cut taxes in ways that will benefit him and the top 1% much more than anybody else. Just like Reagan did and just like Bush jr did. Trump is even using the same excuse that Reagan used even though we now have about 40 years of experience to show it's a phony excuse. Expect the current trend to continue.

The current trend extends through Obama and Clinton, my dude. Wealth inequality has increased exponentially over the past 8 years, and let's be realistic about who Hillary aligned herself with.

The welsher speaks!

Then by saying "most people on food stamps work" (as laughable as that is) doesn't it point to an economy that can't afford to pay a person a living wage as classically people with jobs don't qualify, and we're not talking Scrawgdogs "1hr/wk PT" worker here.

Ready to own up to how you're a welshing hypocrite now I've proven it conclusively?

It says a lot about the moral compass of the economy, profits >> people. This fosters an environment which has allowed fleecing of America's assets in exchange for the profits of some.
