You know those socks you'll sometimes see at the flea market? They are around 2-for-$1, but you just know they are shoddily made, so ratty that they'll fall to pieces and require new socks before long....

no, it was his predecessor who left him with a $1.6 trillion dollar deficit after inheriting a surplus from clinton.
