Cons - Too many racist and hateful posts
If I may touch on the moderator deal.
The mods here are highly interactive and for the most part pleasant. I hate seeing threads locked because
people lose control. I would rather see the offending posters getting their comments deleted and receive infractions
after warnings. Toss out a few cards and maybe some temp bans to show the offender their actions will not be tolerated.
There should be no place at RIU for threats, racism or hate.
Anyways, the mods do a decent job, if there was more effort to keep the community a nicer place we would all benefit.

first off stativfied has done nothing but constantly bitch whine and moan about riu .
Second i never EVER said he was pro rape
because he doesnt like me he constantly will challenge me at every opportunity and take me helping someone and turn it into an argument or challenge and i usually just ignore it , he will be little me, be combative, and is overall seriously just a pain in the ass, hes rude , and personally if youre so goddamn unhappy with a website LEAVE. But I believe statifed is just a miserable person who has a miserable day so what he does is comes on riu follows me around in support and just tries to make mine as well or takes it out on other people because he had a shitty day.

that part of the quote right there, is specifically what i was speaking about the fact that he "congratulated" the mod for having thick skin and i believe if he previously knew it was me those words would not have been spoken
As for this WHOLE stupid mod debate. We are humans, we will get upset after 6 months of people bugging us or being rude to us or constantly doing what he does to me we may "argue" with some users to defend ourselves without trying to be too harsh about it.
Were people, we dedicate hundreds if not thousands of hours a week to this website to clear the spam and serious arguments like name calling and harassment (which stativifed does to my by following me around to challenge me) FOR FREE.
we enjoy riu, but if you have a serious issue about how its run you need to take it to the head haunco stop attacking us.
and stop making this an attack the mods threads.
I would also like to add that riu is a private website privately owned and when you clicked agree to sign up you allowed any mod to take any action on your posts, or account.

I can agree with alot of that. And, I should have stayed on topic. Perhaps I should have worded my "attack" a little more carefully, but, that sure looked like what you were implying. We all know you're human, and work here for free...but, remember YOU VOLUNTEERED. If it's too much to handle people's opinions, maybe you're the one who needs to leave.
its never too much to handle peoples opinions but constantly being attacked and harassed is another thing.
ive tried my best to explain to him many of times and be helpful but he doesnt care, he just keeps attacking and harassing.
i love volunteering and i love the website,and if i say so myself i do a pretty damn good job, i do more here than many know or understand because i wanna give back
does that mean in the mean time of volunterring and helping i should constantly be belitted and harassed and attacked? i dont think so.

Not at all, no one deserves to be attacked.
Is there a chance that in cases like you are pointing out there will
be stricter rules and more warnings/infractions/bans to further discourage
people from thinking they can attack other members without penalty?
completely understand what i dont think youre understanding is that his opinion while are different are worded with attacks, and he will literally follow me around and harass me. which is than not being just a different opinion but i see youre not understanding that
