When I grew my first plant and I came on this site to get tips, I read heaps of posts about throwing away the leaves as they are useless. When my first plant was growing I topped it, so I had a nice leafy stem at my disposal, I was a little desperate for weed so I smoked it, and I got high.
Anyway since then, I have always utilised the leaves. Whether it be smoking them straight, cooking with them or butane extracting them, and I am happy to do so cause no matter what it gets me high.
It does taste like shit compared to bud so I usually mix it with some sweet cigar tobacco or sweet cigarettes to help it go down. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one in the world who smokes leaf, but I can't be. The only thing I can think of is that I usually grow White widow which has a high THC content, cause I remember the first bag of pot I ever bought when I was in High School, and that shit was leaf city, and I never really got stoned from it.
