The Real Deal Grand Daddy Purple

all you cats need to chill..i live in cold country and when it's close to harvest time, a cold night or two can turn some of plants purple or red kinda burgandy depenging on the strain even the calayxes change color..i'd like someone to smoke my c99 x a-11 and call it weak just cause it went purple or red...put it up against green crack..yes it is from grimms stock...peace

heres a gdp i did for like a little less than 60 days. i read online it takes 60 but i sampled some way early at like 45 days lol and it was stony allready haha.

i got this gdp from san francisco bay area safe alternatives .


im a newb and this was my first grow and i nute burnt it and didnt really know what i was doing and the bud came out really good i think!it didnt yeild that much but thats because i had 6 plants under a 400 watt hps and i had half of the light focused on 1 big plant and the other half of the light focused on 5 other small ones.
it was only in a 1 gallon pot also.

i have no doubt fdd is a great grower..but i am a great creator and grower..openminded..and yes i said he sounded like he was prejudice of the purple because he related it to rap so often..imho he is really just ignorant to the fact that if purple urkle and gdp excellent strains imho..if they where so bad,then it would not be so sought after to this day..what i have found that fdd has no life and thinks he the "shit" in this forum, well your not , so shut the f@%k up!!!!

you know criiter, i believe he is just ignorant..i tried to tell him back in my days at uconn we used to feed our plants blueberries mixed in water with pure cane sugar..i also told him it gave the bud very good flavor he scoffed..well i still do that with some strains for flavor and the mag. they give it..he really is an a#@hole..but forgive him as he really can't see past his own ignorance as you can tell he is uneducated..

theres def. not a lot of info about it, but i think thats more because its only over here in cali.. you dont find a ton of info on most true west coast strains, ya gotta do some sifting.

has anyone else grown GDP or had experience with it? i guess i gotta hope for a good pheno, or just go for something else if i can find it.. but i would like to grow a purple just to say i have LOL

hey i took that guys advise and not only did my herb taste better but it also gave it a blue- green look..it was way better..i recommend it to anyone to try...later

Rappers talk about purps because they like grape lol. I live in the ghetto(for my area) and all the kids around here are into grape. Grape blunts, grape drinks, even grape weed. I got some purple weed recently and I gotta say it is some of the best stuff I have smoked in a long time. I showed it to a bunch of people and everyone wanted me to get them some. A really nice energetic high with a great taste and smell. Since then I have been lookin for strains that are mostly purple with a grape taste lol
It just grabs people, Im not sure why

I was going to get some seeds from bcbuddepot.com
they have "the purps" that is grape flavored and their prices arent bad. Anyone bought seeds from them? I know they are really slow but other then that I havent heard many bad things

i like other stuff too... not saying i've tried all types from all over.. but out of the few i've tried... i like the way kush and purp taste...not a big fan of sour diesel, but i did love it when i mixed it with kush... and as far as high goes... i smoke till i'm high.. ha... if it takes me 3 blunts to get there... so be it... i just put on my ninja suit, strap on my M-16, whip out my can of mase.. and i'm ready for war..ha...so, i don't really have any complaints... purp is a big thing in the streets... but i've noticed people are slowly switching to other things.. mainly Kush ... Sour has its place... and people are starting to look for Jack....

thats true... just like the athlete that would wear his lucky jock strap... its a mental thing... but people have said for years, your plants are linked to you... thats why some people like talking to there plants, they believe it makes them healthier, but i think its the fact that when you speak, its CO2 coming out of your mouth.. and the plant is feeding off it... but you never know
