Well I guess the new Overgrow is a joke based on what I'm seeing from the self-appointed poser "mini-mod" over there.

I have had a horrible experience with this company. 30% germination rates. I reached out to them via email three times. Twitter and Instagram they ignored me and blocked me on Instagram for posting my issues with germination. As a last resort I am informing the general public they are not a trust worthy company. Rather than dealing with issues they ignore them.
I have had the same thing happen to me, I bought a load of seeds 150 pounds worth, and had huge problems germinating them.
When contacting Angus directly he accused me of being incompetent and not knowing what I'm doing even though he approached me a year ago on IG asking for me to run tests for him and that he loved my work. I have the, correspondence to prove it.
I stated clearly what I had bought and that I have had a germination rate of maximum two or three seeds out of 10 that I germinated.
When I approached him about it he became very defensive and aggressive he is an extremely unpleasant and insecure person.
I even asked his opinion on some of the Laotian strains that I had germinated successfully that didn't look particularly Laotian and he told me I didn't know what I was talking about and so on and so forth. as a customer who is complaining about a product there is absolutely no excuse for his behavior.
if I bought a pair of jeans and 5 days later the buttons fell off I would expect to be reimbursed or at least not talked down to I have no problem showing our interaction and how he treated me he also blocked me straight away for no reason whatsoever besides complaining about my purchase he cannot take any criticism walk forever and any confrontation he responds in a very immature and unpleasant way.
I would not recommend anyone buying seeds from this person.

Ive dealt with angus alot there (rsc/kwik) the most honest and helpful people you could ask to deal with you must have pissed him off somehow regardless rsc are upfront about germ rates all seeds collected in the field have less germ rates anyone in the know knows this they sent me a whole new duplicate order once free of charge cos my seeds were a day late i never complained or even noticed till i got more seeds than i ordered ive bought alot off them they always been polite and helpful in my experience so idk buddy
I 100% agree, Angus has always been a straight shooter with me, and always helpful. He's honest about germ rates, and often sells seeds that test with low germ rates at a huge discount. People need to realize, these are landrace seeds collected AT THE SOURCE-those seeds have seen conditions that no Western bred seeds have experienced. I think brand new growers should start with some fresh seeds that were produced in the West first, learn how to grow properly, and ESPECIALLY, learn how to germinate seeds properly, then try their hand at landrace seeds.

Yeah Unless they specify in the notes in that particular strain ie like wild type they usually give away anything with 80% or lower germ rate as freebies ive had nothing but positive experiences with them

If I have a problem with Joe soap seeds I don't blame the vendor that sold me them, I'd expect the vendor to correct the issue but it would be unfair to blame them for the issue that's outside their control.

I've never had any interaction with the guy at RSC but I've grown out quite a few of the offerings and have always gotten seeds to germinate.

Two new users making their first posts on this forum in this thread. One bumps the post after two months claiming they got ripped off and the other posts a link to some generic seedbank selling polyhybrids. Coincidence?

Nobody gives a damn about your recommendation.

Nobody gives a damn about the shitty seedbank you buy your crappy polyhybrids from.

the cool thing about RSC is you can talk to Angus anytime, it's not like you are just getting some customer service employee. Angus is a good dude.

Okay, I've read this entire thread, guys. What I want to tell you... I have bought seeds here several times and have been satisfied. Read carefully about exactly how the seeds sprout to avoid situations like this, because the company always writes about their germination, it's true. If you want more plants, buy more seeds. These particular seeds are not something you should skimp on. If you want to save so much money, you better go make fake bank statements. But you can't save money on seeds.

I have bought seeds from RSC or Kwik more than 4 times. Always gets here and if I have questions I can always ask. For those wondering, yes I have had disagreements with Angus but in the end he is always a great guy to deal with. You will find strains at RSC you won't find anywhere else. And as far as, "potent", I grew out Malawi Gold in flower for 22 weeks. 3 hits and I won't drive.
