The review on the war

Is it not available for us to read? Its kinda stupid that we cant read it. The only parts I seen talked about on abc was 'we have made progress' but they also said that that is reversible...so wtf is going on? I just kinda wanted to read thru some of it.

Heres a quote I enjoyed

PAUL PILLAR, A PROFESSOR OF SECURITY STUDIES AT WASHINGTON’S GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY:

“The ‘review’ was not a fundamental re-examination of policy toward Afghanistan but instead an occasion for reiterating a message aimed at shoring up support for the war.

Any thoughts?
-Im not very knowledgeable on this subject, but its definitely sparked my interest in the past year.

My advice, Stop watching ABC, NBC, or CBS for your news. They're all a bunch of panzy ass bitches that
don't know truth even if it was staring them in the face.
Those networks are told what to say.
And they say it in a leberal democratic way just for fucken ratings, it's all entertainment bullshit.

Watch FOX news, at least on that channel you'll get all angles of the channeled truth. Then maybe you'll
be able to decipher what the fuck is going on with this fucked up country.

Sorry, this thread opened up a scab that has been itchen.

Surprised to see someone on here with that point of view. Glad at the same time too.

Here is the thing about fox news. They claim to be fair and balanced. Most people misinterpret this. Their commentators are not balanced, O'Reilly & Hannity, Beck.. All right wing.

What makes them fair and balanced is that they have guests on that make me want to throw things at the TV... Alan Combs, Bob Beckel, Barney Frank, that insane nutrition chick, etc... So, you get the right hand spin + the left hand spin and you actually get a chance to wade through the bullshit and draw your own conclusions. When you watch the network media and they have a debate it is usually with 3 people that mostly agree with each other on the left.

I rely on most of my stuff from fox news but I also am hooked up to e-mail alerts from the wall street journal and read many headline articles from them.

Once I have the bones of the story if I feel the need to go more in depth I just hit the internet.

O'reilly and Beck are both independent AFAIK. Hannity is pretty conservative, but Beck and O are both just as quick to criticize the Republican party as they are Democrats.

I guess I was looking at it more where Obama is concerned. O'Reilly is the only one that will give him a fair break at this point. But an outside observer isnt going to be able to distinguish the differences in the type of news the 3 of them cover very quickly.

If you are watching the networks, by comparison fox appears far right.

By comparison sure, I'll give you that. But that's only because the others are so far to the left that the Anchormen and women have a tough time speaking with Obama's dick lodged so far down their throat.
