Back in the 80s. Dirt track outside of Grovetown, Ga. Drag strip down by Jackson.
We had Dallas Speedway in Dallas Georgia, just outside of Marietta where I went to school. We'd take our cars down there for the 'Head's Up Trophy Dash'.

My buddy Aaron had a monster 1968 GTO. We'd stop about a mile down the street and pull two spark plug wires off it and go limping in and drive around the parking lot a couple times.

They'd be all over us wanting to race for 50 bucks. We'd set up a couple races, put the wires back on...

Yeah. They were quite surprised.

LOL.

Really? That's what you're going with?
so, cite something to bolster your point, Taco. You aren't convincing anybody with your self referential posts. I do believe that what you are saying is what people in old white circles are saying. I believe that. Aren't old white social circles in Georgia also saying the Nov 3 election was a fraudulent one? So, cite a reliable source and I'll read it.

Seriously though, I do wish the rest of the US would apply the lessons in manners I learned in school there. People up here where I live now look at you funny when you say yes ma'am, no ma'am and such.

The single best thing I learned in school in Georgia.
Same in NW Florida. Some one might hate your guts, but they would be polite about it. That too is changing.

When I was stationed in Norfolk I was dating a girl from Richmond Va. Her family always sold Brunswick stew at the Nacar race there to raise money for their VFD. It was pretty good.
I can't remember the last time I had some good Brunswick stew.

I'm thinking I was in my early 20's.

Nobody makes good food anymore.
