Demonic- I just bought the roots organic line nutes, "player pack" which includes everything on their organic feeding schedule. You said you are using extra buddha grow and I have read a couple reviews complaining that it was a little light on Nitrogen and that plants were getting deficiencies about half way through flowering.

Do you think it needs a little extra nitrogen? I am considering adding fish emulsion to the feeding schedule to help with a possible lack of N.

It's been a beautiful past couple days. Been talking to the most amazing girl <3. Fine as hell and absolutely adorable. Hobby is suffering a bit from my lack of attention but thankfully Mary is a forgiving girl.

Edit: This was a post from a while ago that didn't go through for some reason. Closer to day 40 right now. Need to go check herb IQ. Update soon.I also ordered a 48" T5 unit for veg and will be moving the haight panel up to flower. Also accidently won an auction on another blackstar 240. That will be 3 and the haight in there... wooo bigger yields yum. I also will be looking into moving to hyrdro if I can still use the roots organics. Tired of all the soil and gnats. Want to keep plant count in the misdemeanor range and eventually plan on shifting to 2-3 in veg and 2 large plants with two lights each in flower. Plan on staggering them a month apart so i'm harvesting once a month give or take.

Day 43


Long overdue update. Merry day after Christmas everyone! Hope everyone enjoyed their vacation partying. I know I did! sorry for the lack of updates. Been battling depression and been getting sidetracked with RL.

one of the new lights came the other day. Hung it real quick before going to the parents for dinner.
Fills the veg space nicely although warms it up a bit more. Looking in today the plants all look happier than I've seen them in a while.





Now I get to move the Haight up to the flower space, I also have another blackstar 240 coming tomorrow. So I will have 3 lights over 4 plants and the haight as movable side lighting like so

looks great demonic! its been a while everything is a nice size for the led grows ive seen, i think you could beinfit more from some green yellow light added light flouro. even though they dont photosythesize those spectrums, they use them in small ways and in combination with the other colors. that purple haze is amazing, cant believe its go any sativa origin though, maybe itys just the pheno you got

Thanks, Ive been supplimenting with a cheap exoterra two bulb cfl fixture with two reptiglow bulbs as side lighting but it was a pain. Thus the side panel now. I thought about t5's up there but would rather keep it all LED up there. I got the blue spec ramped up on the haight.

I don't think I'm going to get soda bottle sized colas but maybe a popcan sized main on that purple haze and something close but not as fat on the hawaiian.

if you can handle the heat have you ever thought about a mercury vapor bulb for reptiles? it will amp things up quite a bit and as for efficiency, the amount of UVB will be far greater with a better footprint than fluorescent in addition to a fair bit of light. but once again thats if you can handle the heat(wont be like a 400w but it will warm things up.)

man you are doing fkin awesome in there with those shitty panels !! :o :eyesmoke: You are giving me hope in my blackstar I gotta say your buds are nice and frosty. I have had the blackstar off for a while just hanging there. I have my doubts about its capabilities... My HSS is perfect over my seedlings and I am trying it to veg a few plants with it right now, I like that it`s light and easy to move thats about it :eyesmoke: I hope you can prove me wrong with the HSS too, actually, I remember using mine in a similar way that you do, I liked that I could almost have the plants touching the light but again sometimes I thought that it wasnt really doing anything other than letting me see the lower buds hehe. Sorry for rambling. I dont mean to insult you with the shitty panels I paid way too much money for my HSS and I regretted it, might as well laugh about it now. Nice work!! Nice healthy plants

I notice a big difference between my 2012 flower model vs the older flower model I have. Frost/yeild. The hawaiian and purple haze are both under the better one. Hope the light coming tomorrow is the new one. I'd say in my first grow I pretty much paid for my investment. I mean, at $400 a zip here I say I broke even on first grow if not close as in I didn't spend it buying from someone else.

$400.00 is towards the high end for wholesale where I am, but I've seen people get $450.00 for Sour D, even more for hash. $350.00 for grade A is usually the going rate. $125.00 a quarter z is considered a friend price in the retail end here and with friends like that it's no wonder I grow my weed :finger:.

I always hated paying 60$ for a quarter, 50-55 was the norm and 45 with good connection. I cannot believe the price you guys are talking about!!

Average i pay is $360oz with $400 on high end all a+ quality .... I never seen prices so outragious. but then again I quit smoking for a few years and during that time everything transitioned from mexi brick to dank on a stick.
