It could be somewhat representative actually (depends how they sampled these people but the size is reasonable enough to draw some conclusions from... the MOE isn't gigantic once you get into the 1000's assuming you selected your sample properly). And it's probably very representative when you consider how far in what direction the results have gone. Canadians are by and large serious pushovers in my experience. Yes, we're nice people. But we're not going to be around for very long if we continue to let ourselves be run the fuck over by anyone who wants to have their way.1 poll, with a polling pool of 1369 randomly selected peeps does not represent anything in a country of 35M...IMO!
If this is the case it isn't going to all that accurate. The margin there is pretty huge though. And it is very concerning.I think they forgot to mention the poll was conducted among members of government employee's unions. As a, now sober, alcoholic, I could raise all sorts of shit about having to go to a liquor store for pot. The gov booze stores may get to sell weed, but I doubt it, and it wouldn't be exclusive. I see stand alone dispensary style stores as the way it will go. Wishful thinking or an educated guess? I guess we'll see.
