I highly recommend this video for anyone interested in what is happening politically with our healthcare in the US. I just viewed this video, and it is packed full of comprehensive information that I could not have posed more succinctly myself (not that I could have at all). If the government health care is so bad then how come none of these congressmen against health reform are quitting their government healthcare program!? Nope!!! They just take the benefits and deny everyone else.

Why would a corrupt individual purchase a service that they can steal? Just because someone is benefiting from something doesn't mean it is "good". Did you know that Canadian officials get special healthcare treatment and in many cases seek out private healthcare from the US?

Well for one they don't steal it, it is a benefit of their employment. Secondly, if it was no good, why would they use it? Now lets see here, I am retired USMC.. My family and I have enjoyed the excellence of our government provided health care and the great service we get. If it was no good then I'd go purchase private insurance.

This "government healthcare" you are referring to is still mostly based in the free market. Just wait until all competition is removed and watch what happens to the quality and sustainability of your free healthcare.

Secondly, how do public officials fund their free healthcare? They pay enforcers to forcefully extract money from the public and then use that money to pay for their doctor visits. You might not be stealing my money, but you are happy with allowing the federal government to steal my money and then tapping into it so you can avoid the pain of having to dip into your own pocket for a service that you want and need.

They keep their plan thats why they ain't quiting.

There are already people talking about non-compliance with this.
It still has to pass the senate then it will face court challenges.

Look if the plan was so great why must they threaten people with fines and jail time?

You don't support personal freedom you support government force.
You don't support economic freedom you advicate higher taxes on small buisness.
You say you support free markets,
How is a publicly funded insurance plan that can force payment at gunpoint free market.
How is a public option that can get funding from FED printing presses free market?

It is clear to me you are a statist fanatic.
Who believes that government is god and can do no wrong.
You willfully turn a blind eye to government failure after government failure.
In the hopes that government will give you something for nothing.
You and those like you are no better IMO then any other religious extremist.

Your argument sounds good, except one little fact thats incorrect.

The insurance industry is HARDLY free market. If it was we could all pick and choose the company/plan that we ant. Seeing as how most of us have employer based care, we are FORCED into that plan or the great choice of having none at all. There aer also some states where you can only buy from 2-3 plans, Period, thats not free market.

The insurance industry has been raping us all for decades, anti-trust exemptions, subsidies, bailouts, etc.

So called conservatives all bitch and moan about subsidizing health care through a govt. option. The fact is we already subsidize the insurance companies. We all know how much good thats done, right?

and now government is gonna save us from the greedy insurace companies.
A situation the government created.

I know about insurance comanies.
In California they are allowed to pick and choose what counties they opperate in.

Just wait next take over will be Big Pharma.
Mark my words this healthcare bill is a big givaway to big pharma.
Then when they show record profits the government will take them over because they are "gouging."
